Great graphics
The gameplay is very good. Ball reaction on greens is really good. There is a LOT of great courses to play as well. The commentary is poor and the fact there aren't actual players on the career mode (brooks koepka, dustin johnson, etc) is disappointing. The graphics are on point, but some other areas of the game need to be improved- commentary, real-life players, & equipment options.

Good golf game for golf fans
I've played this game on the XBOX and now bought it for my son on the PS4. He is a huge golf fan and this is a good game, especially for the price point. It uses a slightly different approach to the controls than other golf games. It takes some getting used to, but once you do it is a fun game to play. You can practice, play a single round of 9 or 18 holes, etc. It also allows you to customize your character like many other games. Recommended for golf fans.

Nice Improvement
Not for the faint of heart, this is a challenging golf game. It is more of a golf simulation than an arcade type game, this is not the Tiger Woods games of old. Personally I really like the game, and the collection of user made courses is fantastic and huge. The PGA aspects need to be expanded, no PGA golfers and the tour calendar has only a few licensed courses. It would be great if you could choose the courses for the tour schedule. The graphics could be improved, and the developers really should move to a better graphics engine, considering where console gaming is today. All of that being said, I really love playing this game. The challenge, and you can adjust the swing difficulty by the club set you choose, provides a sense of reward when you are successful, unlike the old EA games which you could master in a few weeks and then shoot 20 under par per round. If you like golf, this game is for you.

Good first step with license
Gameplay is great.. putting can be a little more consistent.. needs more real PGA courses/tournaments (Augusta would be the dream).. would be great if it had real PGA players.. hopefully 2k gets more involved and beefs up the career mode to be near as good as the similar modes in NBA2k.

Questions & Answers

Is The golf club 2019 local multiplayer or couch CO-OP?
It says on the back it's multi player co op but I don't know more than that really I've played it but the announcer keep telling me I need better practice

Is this game a two player game that's not online? Head to Head match where you create your player to go against an opponent.
Yes up to four players offline.

Can 4 players play against each other and save progress of each player to build on? Or is there another golf game for ps4.
NOPE if you go head to head you can not use your own player. One has to go as guest and their score does not get credited to them. My husband and son hate this game for that very reason they can not use thier own players to play head to head.

I've seen videos of people playing Augusta. Is this just a course made up or can you play the master in career mode.
There is a version of Augusta in the game, but it's user-created and not officially licensed. The Masters Tournament is not included in Career Mode.
