The Good Place: The Complete Series - BLU-RAY [9 Discs]

All the episodes are here, don't worry. At least two episodes that I know of, however, do not have extended episodes. S1E1- Everything is Fine and S1E13- Michael's Gambit both have extended episodes on the NBC Website, but they are not present on this release. All the other episodes, however, are extended. Also, the bad place webisodes (6 of them) are not on this release, but they are available online to view. I still give this release 5 stars because this show is just so great, the audio and picture quality are fantastic, and we have all the episodes on 8 blu ray discs and a whole blu ray disc dedicated to special features. My package did come with a slipcover with the same artwork as you see online. I do like the fact that they included spindles for every disc instead of putting them in cardboard sleeves or stacking them like other releases have. Be careful when taking out the discs, however, because the spindles themselves seem to just barely hang onto the discs. But don't worry too much, they are blu ray's; they are tough. Buy this set and support a wonderful show!

The Good Place is a remarkably original, quirky and hilarious television show, and having the complete series on Blu-Ray is an enviable possession. But this particular edition has more than just all of the episodes. It is the Collector's Edition of the complete series, with extended episodes and a lot of other extras. This Best Buy purchase of the collectors edition was a better price than most retailers' price of the non-collector's edition Complete Series. The top line of the cover type -- right below the Blu-Ray logo -- will tell you if it is the Collector's Edition. Do your homework if you want to get the best available version of the complete series.

I wish something labeled "Collector's Edition" had more content but it's just the complete series with the usual bonus features. That criticism aside, The Good Place is one of the best TV shows I've seen in a long time. I even showed a couple of episodes to my own philosophy students when I was teaching introductory philosophy classes. My students loved it too which is always a win! Honestly, its such a brilliant and heartfelt show. Everyone should take the time to watch the series. You'll come out a better person, guaranteed.

My favorite show. On reviewing the show it is defintely worth a watch because of the great philosophical and emotional themes. The cast and characters are super lovable. On the bluray disks themselves, I definitely think this is the definitive way to watch the show. First of all, most of the episodes are the extended versions that arent found on netflix. Also, the higher picture and sound quality is INSTANTLY noticeable. Just impeccable.

I fell in love with this series from the first minute of the first episode and that love never waned. Holy Forking Shirtballs, it is funny, informative, and thought provoking. It made you think while being totally entertaining. Although it could have gone on, the shows creator had a story to tell and it was done without "jumping the shark". Although I could have rewatched it on some streaming platform, I wanted to support those who created and worked on the show by actually buying the complete series box set and do not regret it.
