RFK Stadium, Washington, DC 6/10/73 (Live) - Widely considered one of The Grateful Dead's seminal performances, and certainly one of the very best of the universally acclaimed 1973 performing year, 6/10/73 is as synonymous with great Grateful Dead concerts as are 2/13/70, 8/27/72, and 5/8/77. There are few shows that deliver the goods to the extent of this concert, with it's statement-opener of InchMorning Dew, Inch through lengthy workouts on InchBird Song, Inch InchPlaying In The Band, Inch InchHere Comes Sunshine, Inch InchEyes Of The World, Inch and an other-worldly InchDark Star.Inch Add to this a nearly hour-long encore/third set featuring members of the Allman Brothers Band (with whom the Dead shared the bill at RFK in 1973), and you have not only one of the most unique shows in Grateful Dead history, but also one of the most exciting, inspired and powerful performances of the Dead's entire career. Double vinyl LP pressing. Reckoning is the 1981 live double album by The Grateful Dead. It consists of acoustic material recorded live in September and October 1980. - The Dead's sixth live album was released in April 1981 and contains live material recorded from between September and October 1980 at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco and Radio City Music Hall in New York. Reckoning is essentially an acoustic companion to Dead Set, a 1981 live album of electric material - both albums were recorded at the same run of concerts. - The material recorded in 1980 was originally intended for on one double LP set, but the of the music subsequently steered the Grateful Dead towards the of two double albums, Reckoning and Dead Set.
