The Highwaymen was a country music super-group composed of four of the genre's biggest artists well known for their pioneering influence on the outlaw country sub-genre Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. Whenever you combine the greatest men in their trade, you get genius. The album is an amazing compilation of talent and song writing. These men are legendary country music singers on their own, and when you combine them, you get something special. Highwayman 2 is the second studio album released by them, which reached #4 on the country album chart. The Lee Clayton penned song 'Silver Stallion' was the first single and made the country Top 40. The album was nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration. Highwayman 2 was produced, once again, by Moman. Six of the songs were written or co-written by members of the group. Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album.
