The Hive Dwellers - Lynch The Swan/Dub The Swan - 7-INCH SINGLE [7 inch Vinyl Disc]

The album provides a unique opportunity to get to know the oeuvre of forgotten masters of the mature Baroque era and to admire their talent and compositional craftsmanship. Thanks to it's exuberant production, the Altberg Ensemble, specializing in historically informed performance on period instruments, transfers listeners to the world of emotions, intrigue and entertainment of sixteenth-century European courts.

Last autumn Calvin Johnson took a train from Providence, RI, to Burlington, IA; naturally he stopped off in Chicago, IL for three days to check in with Mike, Dan, Josh, Hunter Mahjongg. You know it was Dr. Jekyll who wore the crazy pants in the family, didn't you? Mr. Hyde just had an extremely uncouth case of morning hair. Mahjongg are the perfect combination of the two whack like Jekyll, hair like Hyde. When Calvin says, InchLet's Play Band!Inch all sorts of bleeps and bloops ensue. That is the origin of the first recorded offering by The Hive Dwellers. Album Tracks 1. Get in 2. Get in [Strategy Remix] 3. Sitting Alone at the Movies [Shawn Parke and Blandow C. Remix] 4. Sitting Alone at the Movies [Shawn Parke Remix]

The Hive Dwellers new album is the essence of rock'n'roll moved from the garage to the basement to the rec room and then back out into the wild. Calvin Johnson plays guitar and sings his songs in combination with Gabriel Will on assorted stringed instruments and the contributions of several drummers who have made their mark on the Hive Dwellers.
