The Incredible String Band - First Girl I Loved: Live - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Digitally remastered edition of this double album originally released by Elektra Records in 1970. Recorded in a hectic 48 hours by long-time producer Joe Boyd, U is an eclectic mix of musical styles as featured in the band's stage show of the same name. The show had not been a commercial success despite it's mix of spirituality and mysticism, which was very much in keeping with the times.

Digitally remastered edition of this album by the UK folksters originally released as a two LP set on Elektra Records in 1968. Though at the height of their popularity, the album didn't make the UK charts but briefly appeared in the US Top 200 as individual records (Wee Tam and The Big Huge). Robin Williamson and Mike Heron have had long and distinguished careers, working both as a duo and individually.

Billy Strange's guitar work defined the sound of a generation, from unforgettable film themes to chart-topping hits. This collection showcases his mastery, blending technical brilliance with emotional depth, capturing the essence of a musician who played not to impress, but to deeply connect.
