The Innocents is an outstanding horror film not for the impatient, drawing a sense of terror from atmosphere, sound, and pace rather than sudden shock. The Criterion edition presents this film in flawless image and audio, with a small but interesting supplements including commentary by historian Christopher Frayling who discusses the development of the script and the filming process. Highly recommended.

A classic that looks and sounds amazing and a package that is filled with worthwhile supplements. A slow-burn ghost story that is still legitimately creepy and effective, although the style shows it's age a bit.

One of the great British film productions. Suspenseful from start to finish. Kerr is brilliant in her role as the nanny. Highly Recommend you watch this one.
