Riding the momentum of a number of Grand Ole Opry appearances in 2024 in addition to taking home five SPBGMA Awards at the beginning of the year, The Kody Norris Show is brimming with confidence and creativity - clearly evident on this album. From fiddler Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris making her songwriting debut on album single InchBlue Ain't the WordInch to inviting their first-ever special guest to join them on a recording - a bluegrass take of the Tanya Tucker-hit InchSan Antonio StrollInch featuring members of GRAMMY-nominated band Sister Sadie - the band is hitting their stride and taking this album to a whole new level. Completely non-produced and off the cuff, Highfalutin Hillbilly is The Kody Norris Show being The Kody Norris Show. Some songs are originals while others are covers, but all of them share a common representation of their brand of down-home, high-energy entertainment. For their third Rebel Records album, Highfalutin Hillbilly is sure to become a fan favorite!

Théodore Géricault's larger-than-life painting The Raft of the Medusa has stimulated a great many artists ever since it's creation in 1819. Also Hans Werner Henze and his Librettist Ernst Schnabel were inspired by Géricault and wrote a political oratorio on the painting's tragic historical subject in 1967. Notable for it's harsh and bright sounds, tender depiction of suffering, scathing irony, and gripping dramaturgy, the agitation at the failed premiere lifted the work into the canon of great classical scandals.

The kinetic, almost combustible energy that The Kody Norris Show brings to every performance is only matched by the enthusiasm of their fans. Their approach to music beckons the voices of years gone by, clearly evoking inspiration from bluegrass icons like Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin and the Stanley Brothers. Described as one of the busiest, hardest working, and most entertaining bands in bluegrass, The Kody Norris Show brings back to the stage, old school suiting swagger with their custom matching suits, harkening visual spectaculars like those who donned the legendary western wears of designers like Nudie and Manuel. Their sophomore album with Rebel Records, titled Rhinestone Revival has everything that their fans love from The Kody Norris Show... and more! The album boasts 12 hard driving traditional bluegrass tracks, upping the honky-tonk anty, with the addition of percussion to really achieve a proper toe tapping collection.
