The Last of Us: The Complete First Season (Box Set) [Blu-ray] [Standard] [4 Discs]

One of the best video game adaptations out there! Honors the game while expanding what was already given to us! Just excellent!

A very dramatic story with a very diverse cast of characters. HBO proves time and time again that nobody makes quality television shows like them. They did the impossible: make an outstanding live action adaptation of a video game. This will forever become the golden standard on how to handle an adaptation of a video game.

As a fan of the videogame, I was excited and worried about an adaptation of this beloved series. But after the conclusion of the season I was very pleased how they manage to adapt it. If your a fan of the game, or stories about post-apocalyptic worlds, this is the series for you.

The show itself is extremely well made. Episode 3 is a masterpiece. Performances are outstanding (and almost all of the cast were nominated for Emmys.) A/V for the discs is outstanding and they have a nice selection of making of features.

HBO and writers have done an excellent job! Looking forward to more.
