There was a lot of hype around this game, and understandably so. It was Link in an open world! With endless possibilities. It's definitely a great game. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I think one of the biggest criticisms I have for the game is the weapons breaking. Some like that mechanic, but to me it was lackluster. What's more, the world was big but it felt empty, exploring didn't produce the type of Whoa! moments you'd expect. If you're a fan, definitely give it a try but it's definitely different

I was curious about this explorer bundle for the fantastic game Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild even already owning a copy since launch. This bundle of the game is great for people who have just got a Nintendo Switch and who haven’t bought the game already. It includes a starter guide to help new players find out about the lore, items, enemys and objectives. Also a small map of the game with some tiny tips behind the map also.

I've logged so many hours on BoTW, it's such an amazing game! The open world roaming is my favorite, and being able to craft recipes gives me that Skyrim feel. The game has beautiful graphics with such a beautiful land to roam freely, and when connected to a large screen it makes it even more breathtaking. I highly recommend playing, even if you're like me and haven't played all of the previous LoZ games.

Beautifully done game that any Zelda fan will enjoy. I am no where near completion, but am enjoying the journey of the characters. The game is challenging enough that it keeps you engaged, but not so challenging that it is frustrating. Highly recommend this game.

First, I must say that this game looks outstanding. Second, whoever decided to take Zelda and mesh it with the open world designs that are so popular today deserves a massive raise: this game is bonkers and way better than you could ever hope for!

By now you probably know that The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is an amazing game. Well if you don't already own it this is the version to get. Same exact price as the game alone, but includes extras like a map. Brought me back to 1987 when I got the original Legend of Zelda which came with a map, those maps now command a pretty hefty price too. You can get the original Legend of Zelda cartridge cheaper than that paper map. This is a great game as well as a collectors item.

If you love Zelda games you will love this one. It has won many awards this year compared to any game on any system. The Explorer's edition is nice because in addition to the game it has a booklet and map. A nice little extra at no cost!

One of the best games of 2017, and you can play it on the go. The story, artstyle, gameplay, and music are great. Yes there are some small flaws like fps dips occasionally, however they don’t sour the gameplay too much.

Enjoy playing Zelda. Countless hours. I am not usually a patient gamer and I find myself dying but having to adjust my strategy over and over. Variety of weapons, enemies, scenarios.

Such a fun open world game would recommend for anyone who is getting a switch or owns one. You can sink a huge amount of time in the game and just scratch the surface of it.

This is by far the best game to come out in 2017. It’s worth buying a Switch just to play this game. The addition of the map and explorers guide are nice additions.

The best game of 2017 IMO, just beating out Super Mario Odyssey. This raises the bar for every other adventure game out there. Open world + classic Zelda action and better progression, it's a revolutionary title in the Zelda series and does it all without true dungeons. I can't say all that much without spoiling things, but I'll say the less you know the better. Don't ask anyone about anything, don't look things up, just go in blind and talk with somebody after to find out they have had a radically different experience - but always a fun one. The best thing about this game is that all the mechanics work exactly as you'd expect them to. No more video game logic of needing to do a particular action to generate a result. For example, if there is something you want to burn you can knock over a lantern, shoot a fire arrow, attack with your fire sword, or let an enemy take care of it. Without saying too much, swear a metal suit of armor in a lightning storm and see what happens. It's a ton of little touches like I described above that makes this game so special, but you really need to play it to understand. I felt the same way about Breath of the Wild as I did when playing Half-Life 2 back in 2004 before it was expected for games to have realistic physics - it was a game changer and so is Zelda.

Breath of the Wild is such a fun and beautiful game. The bonus map and book are nice but anyone can enjoy the game without these extras. I think the bundle would have benefited from having the expansion packs included, though. The game is fun to play because there's just so much to do! I love cooking, exploring, discovering new things (yes, even the more brutal enemies), and watching the scenes play out. It's definitely a favorite Zelda game of mine, and it's also one of the best games for the Switch!

This Zelda is everything past zelda games have not been - it promises to take you where you've never been before. If you're looking for the traditional Zelda experience, you won't find it here, but go in with an open mind. The game gets 5 stars, but Best Buy gets 1/5 stars for ruining the packaging of these items and other collector's edition games whether it's by careless in-store staff, or being stuffed into a flimsy envelope and shoved in the mail.

Huge. Fun. Those are the first things that come to mind. I can see myself spending at least 200-300 hours before coming close to “finishing” this game. For example, you can spend 2 hours fishing. And another hour cooking up recipes from what you fished. And did nothing to “progress” on the game. You can go hunting for hours, or mining for hours. You can attempt to tame horses for hours, and suddenly you’ve spent 20-30 hours on the game and haven’t moved and inch forward. There are hundreds of side quests, main quests, and you don’t even have to do any of them to have fun exploring this vast world. This is one thing that can be a downside to some people. There is no obvious order of how you should proceed with the game. Your next main quest can take you to an area where monsters kill you with a single blow. Making it frustrating to know what to do next. Fortunately we have the internet and you can find hundreds of walk through and advise if you get stuck. All in all one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Bought this for one of my little cousins. It's a great little bundle considering that it cost as much as the standalone copy sans the extra goodies. Bought the collectors edition when it first launched and loved the game, so I know the game is pretty amazing. The added discount from my Gamer Club Unlocked membership makes it that much sweeter. If you plan to pick up a copy of the game for anyone right now, this is a great bundle to get at no additional cost for the small extra items so it's a win win.
