About this product
LEMONHEADS / COME ON FEEL - Expanded 30th anniversary re-issue of The Lemonheads' classic 1993 album. The breakthrough record that took American alt rock global and catapulted Evan Dando into the hearts of a generation. With a wealth of unreleased demos, alternative versions and rarities - including covers of Victoria Williams, Buddy Holly and The Flying Burrito Brothers plus the Cole Porter standard 'Miss Otis Regrets'. In the 90's Evan's Lemonheads produced hit after a hit, a string of super cool singles 'Big Gay Heart', 'Into Your Arms', 'It's About Time', and 'The Great Big NO'. Pure genius filling the radio waves and taking the stage... Some 30 years on; Evan is still knocking that song writing thing out of the park and 'Come On Feel The Lemonheads' sounds as fresh and perky as it ever did. Amid the hits on the original record are stencils and outlines for yet more magical music and now this deluxe edition adds a second disc of demos and acoustic versions, plus a host of one-offs from sessions and compilations that add further colour to the myth and how it was created. Evan knows a good song when he hears it, as 'Come On Feel The Lemonheads' certainly proved. InchCome On Feel was home to some of his best, sharpest writing - fabulous sunny powerpop and beautiful balladsInch FIRE RECORDS

British pop-soul duo Lighthouse Family rose to prominence in the mid-1990s and remained active until the early 2000s. Singer Tunde Baiyewu and songwriter Paul Tucker formed the band in 1993 after meeting at university in Newcastle. Their 1995 debut album 'Ocean Drive' sold more than 1.8 million copies in the UK alone, establishing them around the world as one of the era's most loved easy-listening acts. The album, released on Wildcard/Polydor Records, produced the UK Top 10 hit 'Lifted' and Top 20 singles 'Ocean Drive, Goodbye Heartbreak,' and 'Loving Every Minute.' It spent 175 weeks on the UK Albums Chart and achieved six×Platinum certification. To celebrate the album's 30th anniversary, 'Ocean Drive' is being re-issued in an expanded edition compiled in conjunction with Paul Tucker. This deluxe features the original album plus three additional CDs of carefully selected remixes and bonus tracks. A newly expanded booklet includes an in-depth interview with Paul Tucker by Record Collector's Daryl Easlea, offering fresh insight into the making of the album
