The Magic of Belle Isle - BLU-RAY

The Legend of the Shadowless Sword [DVD

Reuniting with director Rob Reiner from the hit film, THE BUCKET LIST, Freeman plays Monte Wildhorn, a famous Western novelist whose struggle with alcoholism has sapped his passion for writing. He takes a lakeside cabin for the summer in picturesque Belle Isle, and befriends the family next door-an attractive single mom (Madsen) and her young daughters-who help him find inspiration again.

When medieval England was ruled by a usurper king, timid minstrel Hubert Hawkins (Danny Kaye) found himself conscripted by a rebel band protecting the throne's true infant heir-and thrust into comically dangerous intrigues when he was sent to infiltrate the palace in the guise of the crown's newly hired fool. Colorful Kaye costume vehicle marked by the Inchvessel with the pestle-chalice from the palaceInch and other classic bits co-stars Glynis Johns, Angela Lansbury, Basil Rathbone, Mildred Natwick. 101 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.
