The Mamas & the Papas - Collected - Limited Gatefold 180-Gram Blue Colored Vinyl - VINYL LP

Emerging from the vibrant American folk scene of the early 1960s, John Phillips, Michelle Phillips, Cass Elliot, and Denny Doherty came together to form The Mamas & the Papas, one of the most influential vocal groups of their era. After the group's initial split in 1968, the members pursued solo careers, with Cass Elliot becoming a standout star through hits like InchMake Your Own Kind of MusicInch and InchIt's Getting BetterInch also included in this Collected . Later reunions and new formations kept the spirit of the band alive into the 1990s. Their legacy was cemented with inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame. Despite internal tensions, lineup changes, and personal struggles, their music remained innovative and commercially successful. This Collected celebrates the remarkable journey and enduring impact of The Mamas & The Papa, an essential chapter in the history of American pop and folk music.
