Scary and darkly comic adaptation of Stephen King's short story focuses on a creepy wind up toy monkey that apparently has the ability to cause all manner of grisly deaths. With Tatiana Maslany, Colin O'Brien, Adam Scott, and Elijah Wood. 98 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

As if it wasn't bad enough that a jogging accident has left Allan (Jason Beghe) a quadriplegic, his girlfriend (Janine Turner) has ditched him and he has been paired with a monkey trained to help him with everyday activities. As his mood darkens, it becomes clear that the animal shares a bizarre mind link with her master-and starts to act out his subconscious thoughts of revenge. Spine-chilling shocker from George A. Romero co-stars Kate McNeil, Stanley Tucci. 113 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.
