The Pink Mountaintops - The Pink Mountaintops - VINYL LP

Pink Mountaintops is Stephen McBean, who's been in numerous groups over the last two decades; a straight out Punk outfit, a crusty Punk/Metal Band, and most recently, a Psych-tinged maximal Rock group whose self titled debut, InchBlack MountainInch, captured a great amount of critical acclaim (and meteorically became Jagjaguwar's best selling title). with InchAxis of EvolInch, McBean has once again created something much greater than the sum of his influences. The record almost immediately ramps up into a thumping, buzzing, blissful haze, at various parts sounding like the Velvet Underground or Spacemen 3 or the Jesus And Mary Chain, circa InchPsycho CandyInch. at the end, the album segues into a hypnotic, Smog like meditation. Throughout, McBean sings about love and war, the love of war and the war of love; on the body, on the mind, and on the soul. Experience the record, then think about it in more than one way. Album Tracks 1. Comas 2. Cold Criminals 3. New Drug Queens 4. Slaves 5. Plastic Man, You're the Devil 6. Lord, Let Us Shine 7. How We Can Get Free

2017 debut album for singer/songwriter/producer Charlotte Dos Santos. Born in Norway, Charlotte combines soul, jazz, rare groove and Afro-Latin influences, with a warm sense of storytelling and an angelic voice that seems to float over any track it's on. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY - Charlotte has been making waves as of late with sentimentally-timeless singles and keen visual aesthetic. Now Charlotte makes good on all of the potential she's shown thus far with the of her debut project, Cleo. The project compiles a few lost Soundcloud and compilation fan-favorites (InchMove On,Inch InchTake It Slow,Inch and InchWatching YouInch) with stand-out pieces (including InchGood Sign,Inch InchCleo,Inch InchKing Of HeartsInch) - all coming together to paint a singular, yet universal, coming-of-age love story. On the album title's significance, Charlotte explains Inch'Cleo' is a woman who represents power, femininity, courage and independence. She is ambitious and fearless, yet humble. She is the woman I feel I am becoming, and the woman I feel all girls could be.Inch Charlotte wrote and produced the project herself, with Oslo beatmaker Fredfades (of the Mutual Intentions crew) contributing on four songs as well.
