Great performance, merely ok re-press

I dunno, the sonics on this press is just not working for me. I love the writing and the playing on this hugely influential album but, there's nothing special that improves on the CD you probably already own. Maybe some people like it kind of flat in the mastering but, I think audiophiles will be disappointed compared to the shining remastered debut album, the half speed mastered Ghost in the Machine and the shimmering Zenyatta Mondatta. All of which I would highly recommend before this one.
