In 1947, black marketer Masayuki Ueda (Hiroki Matsukata) got 20 years for murdering a pusher who'd welched on a morphine buy. He resolved that the corrupt Hiroshima prison he was sent to couldn't hold him... and it turned out he'd be right, as he would slip it's walls an astounding seven times as he went to check on family.
