[Employee of bestbuy] I really adore this power bank, but it's not without some not so acceptable flaws. The charging speed is impressive and it definitely lives up to the "fast charging" claims, and the built-in magnets for magsafe compatibility are strong enough to prevent any questions of if the pack will fall off the back of my phone, which initially was a concern given that the weight of this device is nearly double or more than that of today's average magsafe powerbank, and that's okay! I've come to prefer using quality power banks that hold more since most flagship phones nowadays have 5000+ MAH batteries, and if you weren't already aware, wireless charging technology isn't 100% efficient, meaning that even if your phone battery can take 5000 MAH, the power bank will likely use more than that amount with wireless charging to achieve a full juice of your smartphone, which makes me really appreciate this unit having more juice than the 5kMAH standard of today's magsafe products. This was spot on what I was looking for. The build feels VERY solid, and it's a very convenient addition to my everyday carry technology, however; I’m giving it 4 stars because firstly, the integrated braided cable isn't intuitive, after only the first few uses, the cable no longer goes back into its original storage spot on the unit. It doesn't retract or sit flush, which means it just dangles out. For a product at this price point designed for a clean and organized carry, I expected the cable to actually stay tucked away when not in use. Secondly, the digital display readout for battery percentage on 2 out of the 3 units I've gotten so far (as a control experiement) had visual anomalies making the first number in the battery percentage impossible to interpret. It’s a great unit for performance and battery bulking, however, both the cable management and display desperately need a design update. Overall I'd say if my experience with the device was without these two errors (readout/cable) I'd say the price is more than justified, the unit performs above expectations and so my only qualms come from the minor quality control errors which thankfully doesn't prevent the use of the product, not to mention the unit doesn't feel cheap at all, id just like to see these errors get addressed or at the very least deeply considered in a future product alike to this unit. Living in Montana means we’re constantly on the go—whether we’re camping, hiking, riding trails, or traveling—and this RIDGE 20W Magnetic Power Bank has quickly become one of our must-have essentials. It charges our phones quickly, the magnetic attachment is strong and secure, and the built-in cables make it incredibly convenient so we don’t have to carry extra cords. The 10,000mAh battery easily gets us through long days away from an outlet, and it’s been reliable in a variety of weather and outdoor conditions. We also love that it’s compact enough to toss in a backpack or vehicle without taking up much space. If you’re looking for a durable, fast-charging power bank that can keep up with an active lifestyle, this one is absolutely worth it. It’s worked great for us, and we wouldn’t head out on an adventure without it.

Sturdy little MagSafe charger. Glad I picked it up. Was pretty perfect for my needs. Really needed something I could toss my watch on when I didn’t get it charged. I like the flexibility. Watch charger, AirPods on MagSafe pad or via built in cables. Phone obviously. Cables don’t stay tucked in all the time and I have to push them in. Not a big deal though. I like the cables being included if needed. I’m not rough on cables so I know they’ll last. Not sure if I’d trust built in cables for someone rougher on cables, but then I’d just say use the MagSafe. Wireless phone charging is a little slower than I’d like, but it gets the job done and works with passthrough charging as long as you’re not trying to portrait mode while charging and stand. Definitely trust the magnets though. Nice firm grip. I was using this as added grip while waiting my my case to arrive for my new phone and I wasn’t worried at all about it popping off. Worked as a great little stand as well. Overall I’m just being overly critical and it really is a good product. Good job Ridge.

Bought for combined Apple Watch and phone charging. After a few months it’s been great. Only quibble would be the attached lightning cable comes out of its retention slot occasionally but all in all works as advertised.

The Ridge Wallet MAGSAFE POWERBANK is a performer. Held charge on a two-week international trip and all the way home. Percent charge display is very helpful and the attached cords flawlessly attached and recharged my aging iPhone. Very useful in airports and on buses where plugs can be scarce.

Love the functionality of this thing. Can charge with either Lightning or MagSafe. It will be my main charger on upcoming trips, as it uses pass-through tech. When I charge the battery, any devices that are connected charge at the same time. Only complaint is a loud whirring noise occasionally when using the MagSafe charging. Very annoying, but stops when you reattach you phone once.

The indicator that tells you how much power you have left is broken im not sure why but its very hard to read cant tell how much power it has left most of the time

Excellent product. It charges your Apple Watch and phone at the same time. Using this for travel and when my kids have band abs sporting events which require me to have an extra charge! Worth the $. I bought two, we loved it so much!

Gets really hot, the battery display is donkedslim and portable tho

It's great at keeping my phone topped up, but the charge cable will not stay tucked away so it's really annoying to carry.

But with it plugged in I can get around 1 full charge and half a charge on one single charge on this portable charger. I just don't like that the charging cables don't sit flush in their slots you have to force it in, feels like I might break it but other then that its decent.

The addition of an Apple Watch charger in this design is a stand out feature, unfortunately, some times the power bank can be finicky to turn on for wireless charging, but that is far from the most questionable design choice here The lightning connector shouldn’t have even been considered for a product releasing after the IPhone 15, and it lead to the USB C cable being jankier than necessary. A longer USB C cable with a magnetic latch would have made much more sense and would have solved the biggest issue with this product. After your first few uses of the built in cables the friction for to hold them in place will start to fail and you will just have a floppy cable rather than a tight pocketable device. If you don’t need the Apple Watch charger just get one of Anker or Ugreens much better options.

THIS…. Is the Ridge Wallet (yes, THAT ridge wallet) magsafe powerbank. A 10,000mah 5 in 1 mobile battery bank with support for magsafe charging as well as separate built in type C and lightning cable for whatever your needs may be. Has Ridge made the ultimate power bank for any scenario? Let's cut open the box and take a look! Opening the box, Ridge has done a really good job making the unboxing fun with a nice shoe string box that pulls out from its shell. Opening the box, I was greeted by my Matte Olive green powerbank and some paperwork. As mentioned, I received my powerbank in the Matte Olive color and it looks great, plus you can match this color to your ridge wallet should you wish. Moving on, it is instantly apparent that this is the Mcgiver of power banks. Just to list the features out, this powerbank has a sturdy kickstand with two built in cables (one type-c, one lightning), magsafe support, a usb-c port and a nice digital display next to its multifunction power button. Going into the charging details, this is a pretty big powerbank at 10,000mAh, meaning you can charge your phone roughly 2-3 times depending on your specific model. As mentioned, this powerbank supports magsafe wirelessly charging that works on your iphone at 15w or your apple watch at 2.5w. Ridge built in automatic 20w fast charging for charging itself, on both built-in charge cables AND the built-in type-c port. Meaning the Ridge power bank will automatically switch to the fastest charging mode available. You can confirm that you are fast charging with the green icon that pops up on the LED screen. The Ridge powerbank also allows you to charge multiple devices at once, so you could charge your watch using the magsafe charger while also using the built-in cable to charge your phone. That being said, the powerbank will lower the power output to all devices to 5v while doing this. Ridge states it will drop to 5v but doesn’t specify the amps… but I would assume this cuts your max charging speed to 7.5 or 10w. This powerbank also supports passthrough charging, meaning that this powerbank will charge your phone while it is charging itself to reduce downtime. Ridge really pulled all the tricks out of the bag when it comes to charging, and I love that I can charge off of the usb-c port so that I can use a longer cable if I need to. Now this wouldn’t be a Ridge product if they didn’t make it bulletproof. The exterior is made from a thick plastic that is yet to show any nicks, dings or scratches. I recently went camping, and naturally, dropped this charger more than one time and you can’t even tell. The Powerbank also has a nifty built-in kickstand, which holds your phone at about a 45 degree angle so that you can charge and watch videos on your phone at the same time. The magsafe charger is also well made, with a rubber insulator to prevent scratches/marks from transferring, and works in conjunction with the magsafe magnet that keeps the powerbank from slipping off your phone. This powerbank also reads its battery in a percentage, which is a nice +1. Overall, Ridge really hit it out of the park with this powerbank. Ridge is obviously creating a powerbank that they also plan on using as it has just about every feature that you could want while also keeping the build quality solid. From charging my phone to charging my watch or any other type-c device, this is truly an everyday powerbank that I now can’t see myself without. This has pretty much everything you could ask for from a power bank built right in, including integrated USB-C and Lightning cables, MagSafe compatible wireless charging, a convenient kickstand, and a LED display. It looks great too and has good capacity for its size. The Ridge Power Bank is about the size and thickness of a slim wallet. It’s easy to slide into your pocket and is pretty compact for its capacity. It’s available in 3 colors that are black, a bright orange, and an olive green. It looks really good, especially if you’ve got the right case to match or compliment it. There are 2 built-in cables, one USB-C and one Lightning, that slot into each side of the case and lock into place at the top. The Lightning cable is nice to have for charging older Apple devices, though I have a feeling that the next iteration of this power bank will drop it as it becomes less common. There is also an additional USB-C port at the bottom. The power bank can be recharged either via this port or through the built-in USB-C cable. The front of the power bank has a MagSafe compatible wireless charger and also supports Apple Watch wireless charging. Around the back, there’s a built-in kick stand that lets you prop your phone up on a table and it is held in by magnets when it is closed. It’s got pretty everything you could ever need. I do wish there was a USB-A port too, but I don’t really see how they would have been able to fit one so I can forgive that omission. The power bank has a 10,000mAh capacity and can charge at up to 20W via USB-C, 15W via wireless charging, and 12W via Lightning. I was able to charge an iPhone and an older Android phone at the same time from 0-100% without depleting the power bank. The charging speeds aren’t incredible, but they’re good for a power bank of this size. There is an LED display on the bottom that shows the battery percentage. The built in magnet is strong and I never had any issues keeping it attached to my Pixel 10 Pro XL. In terms of durability, it seems to be holding up well, though I’ve mostly just been inside with it. I can see some signs of wear on the case from sliding it on the table, but it still looks good. The cables use some type of fabric material for their outer jackets and they do take a pretty sharp bend at the top right where the connectors are, but in the time I’ve been using it I haven’t seen any signs of wearing and I’ve removed and reseated the cables many times now. There’s no shortage of power banks out there, but there’s not many that offer the versatility and style of the Ridge Power Bank and I think it earns its higher price.

I can never tell my percentage of battery life.It all just looks like a bunch of vertical lines. The battery is super slow to charge and it drains quickly and you don't have any juice left i am not pleased with this purchase

There are plenty of portable battery packs available these days, but it’s been a challenge to find one that checks all the boxes. As a user of an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, etc. I need a battery bank that can charge all these devices…enter the Ridge Wallet Magsafe Power Bank. This device features 10,000mAh charging capacity, 15W MagSafe wireless charging, Apple Watch wireless charging, built in USB-C and Lightning charging cables, an integrated kickstand and the feature list goes on and on. Overall Impressions – the Ridge MagSafe Magnetic Power Bank has a solid build when compared to the dozens of other portable battery banks I’ve tried over the years. It feels like it’s made to hit the road or travel the globe with its small profile and powerful 10,000mAh capacity. Ridge offers a few colorways, mine is Matte Olive, they also offer orange and black. As mentioned previously there are built in USB-C and Lightning charging cables as well as the MagSafe charging option. The battery can be recharged with the USB-C cable or the USB-C port on the base of the battery. The LED display is simple but easy to read and provides the percentage of battery left in the device. The MagSafe wireless option charges at 15W and the USB-C port charges at a claimed 20W. As I no longer have the need for the Lightning cable I never tested it’s charging capabilities. The kickstand feature is also a nice addition; I was able to charge my iPhone and iPad simultaneously while watching two different football games on each screen! Pros: - Rugged construction built for use on the go - Multiple charging options to support multiple devices - Built in kickstand - One device that supports all my electronic devices - Good battery capacity Cons: - Charging cables are on the short side due to fitting into the device I’ve been using the Ridge Wallet MagSafe Power Bank 5-in-1 charger for a few weeks now and it has replaced the handful of charging cables and devices I use to have to carry. It’s well-built and easy to use. I would highly recommend this power bank for anyone looking for a top-quality, feature rich and portable charging option.

I’ve been using this Ridge power bank for a week now, and I'm already excited to travel with it. The orange color looks awesome - perfect pair to the new iPhone. It’s a little chunky, but that’s expected with a 10,000mAh battery. The finish is smooth...maybe too smooth. It feels nice, but I wouldn’t have minded a little texture for grip or durability. When it’s sitting on a slick surface or bouncing around in a bag, it feels like it could scratch a bit easier than I’d like. MagSafe charging works great — it connects easily and holds firm — but you do have to press the power button to get it started. I wish it just kicked on automatically when you slapped your phone on there. Minor gripe, but something to be aware of. Now here’s the part I love: passthrough charging. That’s the feature that let me retire my MagSafe Duo. With this Ridge charger, I can plug it in at night and charge my iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time — and the power bank itself charges too. It’s like a full charging station and backup battery all in one. When I’m traveling, that’s huge. Fewer chargers to pack, fewer cords to deal with. The built-in Lightning and USB-C cables are also handy. Everything’s just built in and ready to go. Battery life is solid for casual use — like topping up during a flight or powering your phone in a backpack during the day. That said, I did notice that when charging via MagSafe, it seems to drain faster than expected. I started at 100% on the Ridge and 80% on my phone, and just getting the phone to 90% dropped the Ridge to 80%. So MagSafe probably isn’t the most efficient way to charge if you’re trying to conserve juice. I’m guessing the USB-C will do better, just haven’t tested that enough yet. The kickstand is a nice bonus, and it puts your phone in the perfect position for nightstand mode. Great for hotel nightstands or working at a desk. I just wish the angle was adjustable — it’s good for glancing down at your phone, but not great if you're laying in bed watching a show. Bottom line: this thing replaced two or three items in my travel bag, and that’s worth it to me. It’s not perfect, but for a charger that handles iPhone, Apple Watch, and other devices — plus works as a power bank — it’s a win.
