Out of Baltimore, Maryland comes The S.E.T. who are crafting 100% unapologetic hardcore music. Formed between bassist Che (founder of Flatspot Records), guitarist Brady (formerly of Turnstile), and drummer Ryan (formerly of End It), the band started through jam sessions in early 2024. Before they knew it, they had instrumentals for seven songs written and were ready to put lyrics to the tracks, and the search for a vocalist began. Che spotted Tim hopping on stage and grabbing the microphone at Disturbin' The Peace Festival, invited him to try out for vocalist, and The S.E.T. was then complete.The S.E.T. will their debut Self Evident Truth EP, on February 27th through Flatspot Records. It's 15 minutes of fury and groove, taking cues from Baltimore acts such as Gut Instinct (whose Sebastian Gorgone features on InchWhite LiesInch) and Stout and the crossover sounds of New York like Leeway and Judge. Recorded and mixed by Justin Day at New Noise Recording and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, the tracks roar with thick bass lines, fast-paced drums, and rage fueled vocals. Lyrics come from a place of candor, expressing the basis of equal rights and defying the propaganda the current administration is spewing.As The S.E.T. comes into fruition, the band wants to exist as a place to put words to action and come together as a community through both their music and live shows.

Vivian Buczek writes InchThis is the most personal album I´ve made so far, where the music sums up my musical upbringing as well as the essence of me as a woman, singer and musician. I was raised in a musical home in Sweden by my parents; both being Polish jazz musicians. Having both feet in two different cultures has made me realize how important my roots are, what they mean and what they have contributed to in my life. As an only child, music was always an comfort and my closest friend and as a little girl I remember singing from the moment I woke up to the very last waking minute of the day. In my adult life, my love for music has affected me and it has become such a strong part of my identity. Now is the time for me to emphasize all the inspiration of which jazz, blues and soul have always been a prominent theme in my musical upbringing. The engaging and strong support from both my parents is something I´m forever grateful for and so I choose to dedicate this album to my loving mother Krystyna Buczek and father Bruno Buczek. A few year ago I met one of the greatest musicians and saxophone players in the world; Seamus Blake. From the very first time i heard him play I was blown away by his musicality that comes straight from his heart and soul; right away I knew I wanted to invite him as a special guest on this album, ROOTS!Inch

Teethe is a band from Texas. The members of Teethe met while attending the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, a small college town outside of Dallas with a fertile music scene. Before forming Teethe, it's core members Boone Patrello, Grahm Robinson, Madeline Dowd, and Jordan Garrett all played in various other groups in Denton, releasing music under different pseudonyms. Patrello released solo music via his Dead Sullivan moniker, while Robinson released under MAH KEE OH. Patrello and Robinson linked up with Dowd to record an album for her project, Crisman, in 2019. They all eventually moved in together, leading the group to start recording more as a whole unit, and subsequently Teethe was born.Made over the course of 2020, Teethe's eponymous debut album is a collection of songs pieced together over time - a sonic collage of fragmented recordings and half finished tracks made whole in the midst of isolation. Initially self-released in November of 2020 with little fanfare, the album's warm, lo-fi aesthetic and slow, calming songs spread by word of mouth. Roughly one year later, at the top of 2022, the band returned with InchTagInch, a new single that caught the attention of slowcore fans and garnered shout outs from unlikely celebrities. Tours soon followed with Charlie Martin of Hovvdy, Momma, Milly, Waveform, and They Are Gutting A Body of Water. The band continued to record their own music, releasing another single, InchLucky,Inch in the fall of 2022, and most recently partnered with Saddle Creek for their 7-inch series to their newest single, InchMoon,Inch in October of 2023. Now spread between Dallas and Austin, the Texas band has recently signed with Winspear and will be re-issuing their self-titled debut LP this winter, along with a pressing of InchTag,Inch InchLucky,Inch and never before released b-side InchThanksInch on 7-inch vinyl.
