2017 . The sound of The Piggyback Riders is built around Chris Spedding's tasteful guitar playing and the harmony vocals of Sulo and Idde. It's Americana at it's very finest, gently colored by soul, gospel and British pub rock. The first single from the album is InchThere's Nothing Left In Me (That's Good For You)Inch. A heartfelt bonfire ballad with rootsy country harmonies. Idde sings gentle about a breakup while Chris Spedding draws a colorful pattern around it. Like an old Emmylou Harris gem. Album Tracks 1. Brighter Light 2. Sturdy Heart 3. Rock Upon the Waves 4. There's Nothing Left in Me (That's Good for You) 5. Cuts Both Ways 6. Windfall 7. Angels & Devils 8. Hardly Satisfied 9. Morning Kiss 10. Keep Your Heart Alive 11. Whispering Shadows 12. Grain of Gold

The Smithereens'Produced by Don Dixon (who helmed 'Especially For You,' the group's breakout debut), 'The Smithereens 2011' features 13 tracks and finds the seminal New Jersey rockers with irresistibly catchy hooks and rapturously fuzzed-out guitars. Pulsing with the same raw energy and vitality the band conveyed years ago, the album easily ranks with the best work The Smithereens have ever recorded. Album Tracks 1. Sorry 2. One Look at You 3. A World of Our Own 4. Keep on Running 5. Rings on Her Fingers 6. As Long As You Are Near Me 7. Bring Back the One I Love 8. Nobody Lives Forever 9. Goodnight Goodbye 10. All the Same 11.
