Grittingly gutsy! Brilliant series!
One of the BEST, intensely realistic, apocalyptic visions on television today! AMC definitely pushes the limits and crosses the line when it comes to edge-of-your-seat entertainment! And they do it with high class! The masterful make-up effects from Greg Nicotero and crew are stunningly spectacular and state-of-the-art, rivalling anything seen in big screen, theatrical releases! The actors certainly know their craft and bring the 'human experience' to its fullest measure in this outstanding, classic television achievement!!!

Great for all Zombie lovers!
My review is biased due to my love for zombies, so I really doesn't matter. Although, if you care... This series has got to be one of my favorites. Like many of the suspenseful TV shows out there, expect cliffhangers at the end of almost every episode. Grab your favorite snacks and get ready to start a season 1 marathon when you get this. You may not have intended a marathon, but it'll happen.

Fear the Walking Dead: Season 1 - BLU-RAY

4.4(333)

Living in the same universe as "The Walking Dead", "Fear the Walking Dead" is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in Los Angeles, a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark (Kim Dickens, Gone Girl) and English teacher Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis, Missing) have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and the dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories. FEAR THE Walking Dead: The Complete First Season cast also includes Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince), Mercedes Mason (Quarantine 2), Ruben Blades (Safe House), Alycia Debnam-Carey (The Devil's Hand), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange Is the New Black) and Lorenzo James Henrie (Star Trek).
