I'm not even kidding, this device has been a game-changer after a procedure I had - its innovative technology is pure magic! The red light and vibration have made my recovery time, skin tightening, and overall healing and circulation go from meh to mesmerizing. And the sensation it gives? Absolutely unreal - it's like a spa day for my pain management! It's a valuable investment and I highly recommend it!

I had a somewhat mixed experience with the Thermback by Therabody. On the positive side, I genuinely found it helpful for managing lower back pain during my marathon training. When it worked as expected, it provided noticeable relief and made a difference in my recovery routine. However, I ran into a serious issue with temperature consistency. Despite following the instructions and using the recommended settings, the device became too hot at times and ended up burning my skin. That was concerning, especially for a product intended for regular therapeutic use. I do want to say that Therabody’s customer support was good. The support manager I worked with was understanding, and quickly arranged for a replacement unit, which I appreciated. At this point, I’m unsure whether my experience was due to a faulty unit, as I haven’t yet had the chance to fully test the replacement. Because of that, I’m not fully confident recommending the product just yet. While the benefits are there, the quality and safety concerns give me pause.

Love it. The heat and consistency are top notch but hate that I have to be connected to my phone for it to operate. Best device of its kind, just wish it didn't have to involve my phone!

The heat is amazing, I was hopping for a stronger massage pressure. This was a gift for my husband and he seems to like it and he finds it easy to put on.

So writing this review, while using... because, well you can, and that is a major plus. As an older person (51), my back is not what it used to be. I do visit a Chiropractor on a regular basis, but this so far seems to be helping the in-between, and helping make things better. It is VERY easy to use. It links to a very friendly app on your phone, that lets you control everything after you put it on. From heat levels, to vibration, to running a programmed session. VERY easy to use. It isn't overly loud, but it does make noise when using. So if you are trying to wear and use while doing something, be aware of that. could be disruptive to others in the room when watching TV. It does get WARM to HOT, based on your levels. I used it at Medium heat, against my office chair, and after the 15 minutes, I had a little sweat going on... just wiped it off with a towel. The downsides: - I have a 48-50 waist, and I can "just" get this on. I am only on about 1-2" on the velcro... it is secure, but I would like it to be a bit more. - The tightening straps, left side, great... Right side, it lands right on the battery pack, so you have to adjust a bit. - There is no USB-C charging adapter, you have to provide your own. They provide a VERY long wire, which is nice, but you need provide your own plug. Not a very big deal, and is common, but is beaming too common. Comes with a VERY nice and quality bag, so you can put away when done, and nicely store it, or leave it out in a compact manner. I have used it multiple times, and I have yet to have a battery dead issue, so it does last a pretty long time, but have not been able to determine how long yet

Like many folks, I have recurrent lower back pain. Mine can go from mildly irritating to almost debilitating, so I am constantly on the lookout for something to keep my pain levels on the lower end of the scale. When I saw that Therabody had the ThermBack LED, I had to give it a try. As with all of my other Therabody products, the ThermBack is well-made and easy to use right out of the box. The straps easily adjust for a snug fit, and once you have it on, it generally stays exactly where it is supposed to. Of course, if you change from sitting to standing several times, it will want to shift a little but nothing major. I was afraid it was going to be overly bulky but apart from the control box, which also contains the battery, it’s not too bad at all. I prefer to wear it under my shirt so the heat is closer and the near infrared lights can do their job (near infrared can’t penetrate clothes) and it is fairly unobtrusive so long as I leave my shirt untucked. I like the variations of treatment options available and the ease of changing modes with the quick touch of a button or two. When you turn on the heat, you feel it almost instantaneously which is fantastic for quickly getting some relief to those sore muscles. While my wife prefers the low vibration setting, I tend to enjoy the pulse mode. On the subject of vibration, that is the only area where I could possibly register any complaint whatsoever because it is a bit noisier than I would like. I work in a relatively quiet office and the buzzing/humming of the vibration motors is quite obvious and can be distracting. Because the sessions are limited to 20 minutes each, it’s not a huge deal but something to consider if you intend to use the ThermBack in a noise-sensitive situation. Apart from that one small gripe, I have found zero faults thus far and use the ThermBack daily, whether to ease my pain level or as a preventative measure. In fact, since I started using it, my pain days have decreased and I feel like I have better range of motion and less overall stiffness.

I was interested in this Therabody ThermBack LED 4-in-1 wrap because I suffer from lower back pain whenever I do strenuous activity. I already own the the Therabody Jetboots, which I absolutely love, so I knew that the back wrap would be an effective product. You can tell that this is a quality product as you take it out of the box. It does come with a nice bag where you can store the wrap. The wrap is surprisingly light, which is nice because you don't want a heavy bulk item that you have to wrap around your waist. Once you are ready to start to use the wrap, it would beneficial to download the app. The app allows you to customize the treatments. You can still receive the benefits of the wrap without the app as it comes with a control box that allows you to choose the level of heat, message type and LED lights. The app gives you more information and it is user friendly. Since I started to do a lot of yardwork recently, I knew my back would start to act up. I have used the ThermBack consistently for the last 5 days and I have noticed a big difference in the amount of pain, stiffness and recovery time in my lower back. I think the key to this product is the consistent use. To really receive the therapy benefits of this product it is helpful to use it on a consistent basis, just like physical therapy. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Therabody ThermBack. I have really noticed a difference in my lower back pain and I really like how easy it is to use and to maintain the wrap. I beats going in to the therapist!

The Therabody Thermback LED Back Wrap is a nice product that combines several technologies to relieve lower back pain. As a 50+ year old fellow, it is nice to come home after a long day at work and strap on this back wrap to help relieve my lower back pain. It is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust thanks to several adjustable Velcro straps. I have the ThermBack connected to the app on my iPhone. The device communicates to your phone app through Bluetooth and there are several 20-minute pre-configured backpain relief routines on the app that can be selected. The routines use a combination of heat therapy, vibration therapy, and LED therapy to relieve specific back pain. I have been using the “Lower Back Pain Relief” routine at the end of every workday to help relieve my lower back pain and stiffness. You can also use the ThermBack directly though buttons on the device, but I have found that using it with the app to be easier. The battery life is good at 180 minutes on a single charge, but each treatment routine is 20 minutes and will automatically shutoff and the end of the 20 minutes. You can use the over clothing or directly on the skin. I have found that using it directly on the skin is more effective. The ThermBack comes with a cloth travel case and a short USB-C cable that is used for charging. Overall, I am happy with the Thermback LED Back Wrap, and it has helped me in relieving lower back pain. Highly recommended.

The Therabody ThermBack comes well package and includes a very nice traveling case. The USB charger is included but not the block to connect to the outlet. I charged it quickly and downloaded the app. It includes, heat therapy, Infrared therapy, vibration therapy and LED Therapy. It fits around your body with velcro straps. The advantage of this design is that you can wear it standing up or walking. Within the app, there are several settings to select from, including Quick Warmup, Desk Bound Relief, Bedtime Back Relief, Pre activity, Post Activity, Travel and Pain. There is a Timer setting so that it automatically shuts off after the set time of 10-20 minutes. The Heat selection allows you to adjust the heat from off, medium or high and Vibration and LED are also adjustable. I generally use the Pain option and the heat is similar to a heating pad. I feel the vibration but it doesn’t seem to penetrate that deep when worn over clothing and is much better when woren directly on bare skin. I get moderate relief from the 20 minute session. The device can be worn over clothing or directly on your skin. I have yet to figure out how to run this without starting it in the app. The box on the device is hard to see once it is on your body but the battery does show a blue light if it is charged and it does stay charged for several sessions. It also tells you when to charge. Overall this is a nice device.

I'm getting older and have a lot of back pain since I stand up a lot and work with heavy things I pick up during the day. I figured I'll give this a try. You use this with their app and it works great. It had 4 different modes to help with your back pain. LED, heat, vibration and far infrared. I mostly just worry about the vibration and heat since I find that the most useful for me. I usually wear it after work for a bit when I get home and deal with my cats. The vibration setting helps like a massage and helps with my sore back a lot. The best also helps with that as well. You can get a rated 180 minutes of use with this if you don't have it plugged into a power source but if you use with plugged it you can use it continuously as long as you like. If you're worried about for this is a one size fits all so you don't have to worry about buying a specific size of this product although I do feel like certain sizes you might run into an issue with fit but they would be a minority of people but you can always return it.

I was gifted this from my daughter after hurting my back 2 months ago. I've been to massage therapy, physical therapy, and have used at-home tens units. After one night & then another morning of this the muscle tension finally started to release, permanently, in the small of my back. I would get relief from the other things, but it would keep coming back. After using this the spasms have finally loosened and that deep, burning pain that I've had for a few months is starting to get much better. As for price, I'm surprised that my daughter spent the money but am grateful. It's a lot more than I would have wanted her to spend.
