Should have a motorized extension and retraction.
RaymondK Posted
I like the look of this, but for the price and overall size of the motor unit, why do you have to manually pull it out and push it in? Should be powered in and out as it gets fingerprints all over it. It works ok, decent airflow and mid range noisy. Expected more for the brand and price which is a common theme with Thermador appliances apparently.

Great Looking Hood but Too Large!
nulife4rak Posted
This is a very nice looking Range Hood Vent unfortunately it's larger than it appears. As much as we liked the item we had to return due to it's size.

This hood is amazing!

I really like the power output from this unit. I'm no longer setting off the fire sensors when I make pork chops! One note, you will need to provide an extra air intake because the city of Portland has a requirement as this unit sucks a lot of air out of your home.

Clean hood that vents all the smoke inside
mlc1 Posted
This hood fans all the smoke up into it so my fire alarm no longer goes off unlike when I had a microwave over my former range.

Good, but not great.

Good looking product but should automatically open and close with a push if a button, instead of manually be opened and closed.

Consumer
Chetan Posted
So long delayed delivery, almost 3.5 months since ordered. I am not sure what are the issues Thermador has but it is unfair for a consumer when all other appliances are of the same make, delivered and installed makes it difficult to change just 1 item. Since haven't used this item yet, wont be able to offer true review.
