Should have a motorized extension and retraction.
I like the look of this, but for the price and overall size of the motor unit, why do you have to manually pull it out and push it in? Should be powered in and out as it gets fingerprints all over it. It works ok, decent airflow and mid range noisy. Expected more for the brand and price which is a common theme with Thermador appliances apparently.

I love this hood so sleek and very special however it does not light up the front burners like as regular hood wood but overall very happy with it

Good looking product but should automatically open and close with a push if a button, instead of manually be opened and closed.
