Superior Heat Dissipation The heat sink is made of 0.4mm thick aluminum with 2.5mm air gaps and 2 ?�6mm solid copper heat pipes that run through the fins for maximum heat conductivity. The heat pipes are made to contact the CPU directly to ensure fast and efficient heat dissipation and enhances the overall thermal performance. 92mm PWM Controlled Fan The Contac 9 SE is equipped with a 92mm PWM controlled fan that can produce a maximum fan speed of up to 2000 RPM, creating 33.12 CRM airflow and 1.02 mm H2O static pressure while maintaining a 24.5 dB-A noise level due to its hydraulic bearing design. The design of this fan guarantees optimal cooling performance and improves the lifespan of the unit. Easy Installation of the Fan The package contents of the Contac 9 SE includes specially designed fan clips that allows users to place the fan on the heat sink firmly and evenly, which makes assembly and dismantling much easier.     Effective and Budget Friendly

    The cooler is very affordable, and is very effective for the price. Prior to installing the Thermaltake cooler, the stock cooler that came with my computer would get very loud when playing games and would turn the pc into a space heater. After installing the cooler, I have noticed that the computer does not emit as much heat as before. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and would recommend this Thermaltake cooler for those in the market for a budget cpu cooler.

    Tight fight, but great build and very quiet!

    Difficult to install. Follow directions carefully! It is a very snug fit. Otherwise a nice fan that is quiet and efficient.

    Terrible install experience--but it works great

    Terrible install experience. The instructions are very vague, so if you haven't installed a heatsink before (I hadn't), you will probably need to look up instructions online. The price is great, and the product works, but I would have bought a more expensive one that was easier to install had I know it would be so difficult. You have to put so much pressure on the clips to make it go down! I thought I was going to break something. I didn't--but it felt like I was going to.

    Contac 9

    Comes with a bag of thermal paste but I got a tube instead. Install this on a TG01-0023 HP computer. I did have to pry the factory cpu fan mount off the back so you have to remove the motherboard completely out of case. Has dropped my cpu temps by 15*C along with the gpu temps by 10*C.

    Recommended, good value

    It works well with my old AMD FX 4300 CPU, which has a 95W TDP. Easy to install on AMD motherboards, the "base" is already there, no need to remove the motherboard from the case. Biggest headache were those two fiddly clips that holdf the fan to the heat sink
