I needed some thermal paste in a rush to get a job done before a deadline. This stuff exceeded my expectations. Used on a 7 year old, never regreased Dell XPS laptop's i7-920 CPU. Lowered CPU temps from +80°C almost 20°C cooler. Also on an IBM Core2 Duo laptop....saw similar results. Laptops no longer auto down throttle their CPUs clock speed to keep from overheating. Great bang for the buck! If your laptop is running hot. I highly recommend it!

The Thermaltake - TG-7 0.1-Oz. Thermal Grease - Gray was actually better than I anticipated. It was a very good applicater, too.

Works great, I have used it in many consoles with no issues, works better than more expensive brands. I won a Battle Royale in Fortnite straight after repair!

I pulled my Macbook apart and peeled the cooling fins off the processor. Turns out it wasn't making full contact. This product worked great, runs nice and cool now.

The Thermaltake grease is perfectly fine for 95% of all builds you might be doing. A pea size amount right in the center of your chip and just slowly press your cooling fan onto it when you mount it. More is not better. It can be cleaned up with rubbing alcohol if you get some on your hands or over the edge of your chip. You get enough to do an easy dozen computers with this one syringe. Remember if you are putting on a new fan or water cooler block to remove the factory applied paste first. You don't want to stack two different paste and also have it too thick. A super thin layer is all you need. It does come with a small spatula but that is really not needed. Just a little dab will do ya!

Cool to the core. Octo-core that is. Used it on my new Ryzen 7 octa-core and also my Ryzen 3200G, dual Ryzen build. Both cores are running nice and cool. Great job Thermaltake! Thank you BestBuy for having the products I need. Maybe get more PC parts options for us small-town builders? :D

Needed this latst minute when i swaped out my processor for another one i had laying around on my gaming rig. BB is one of the only walk-in stores that had it in stock in my hood. This stuff worked great and the oaste was still fresh not like some other purchases were the stuff was completely dried out! I would definitively recommend to others!!

It got the job done and worked well. I would definitely buy again since I had no problems with it.

Re-pasted my Ryzen 5 3600/Wraith Prism, CPU temps, under a hard load, hover in the 75C range, I’m sure I could lower is a few degrees with better case fans.

This is the best Thermal Grease I have used Highly recommended.

I used this thermal grease with a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU and their provided CPU fan. No problems at all.

On my i7 6700K, temperatures rise and drop ridiculously fast! I don't know if it is because the way the CPU works, but at 100% load after a long long process (folding@home) once it stops it goes from 65~69 C to 29 ~ 33 C in an eye blink! I don't even know if it is normal, but I attached a pic with the temperature graphic.

Being in the Syringe type applicator makes this a no mess job, it even came with a spreader to even out the grease on the CPU. Have enough leftover to do at least 3-4 more CPU's, and the product claims a shelf life of 2 yrs. from date of manufacture.

Great product. I just found out that this grease help to mother board to reduced heat conductivity.

Heat kills. That's especially true inside your computer; modern CPUs and GPUs run hot enough to burn themselves out within seconds* unless you have a good cooling system in place to pull heat away and dissipate it. Air is a lousy heat conductor; you absolutely need a good heat conductor between the CPU and the heat sink. That's where a compound like TG-7 comes in; it fills the microscopic voids between the two surfaces (which would otherwise be full of air and not transfer heat efficiently). There's a bit of an arms race among thermal compound manufacturers; TG-7 doesn't necessarily get the top numbers. But - to be honest - those numbers are a bit of a game. TG-7 will absolutely do the job for all normal applications, and the price is quite good. About the packaging: a common complaint with all thermal compounds, not just TG-7, is that the tube doesn't hold as much as it looks like it should. Which is true - but they absolutely do give you what you pay for. This tube should be enough for _at least_ 3 to 5 applications; a little goes a surprisingly long way (you need a thin, even coat - a thicker layer is NOT better!) Make sure that both surfaces - the top of the CPU and the bottom of the heat sink - are CLEAN before applying; a tiny crumb of dirt, or of old compound, can lead to overheating. And be aware that TG-7 gets onto _everything_ and is ridiculously hard to wash off. You WILL have grey fingers afterward. *Some CPUs have thermal protection circuits and automatically shut themselves down before they fry. But NOT ALL do, and even the ones that do can be damaged by getting hot enough to trip the protection - they may not die instantly, but they're never quite the same afterward.

The Thermaltake TG-7 Thermal Grease has proven to be an essential component in my quest for optimal heat dissipation and performance in my computer builds. This high-quality thermal grease ensures efficient heat transfer between the CPU and the cooling solution, resulting in improved system stability and longevity. One of the standout features of the TG-7 Thermal Grease is its exceptional thermal conductivity. The specially formulated compound is designed to efficiently transfer heat away from the CPU, allowing for effective cooling. This reliable thermal interface material eliminates air gaps and ensures maximum contact between the CPU and the heatsink, minimizing thermal resistance and promoting efficient heat dissipation. The application process of the TG-7 Thermal Grease is hassle-free. The syringe-like packaging enables precise and controlled dispensing, ensuring that the right amount of thermal grease is applied without any waste or mess. The included spatula makes spreading the thermal grease evenly a breeze, ensuring optimal coverage and contact between the CPU and the heatsink. What sets the TG-7 Thermal Grease apart is its long-lasting stability. Its non-curing and non-electrical conductive formula ensures that it remains effective and reliable over time. Once applied, the thermal grease maintains its properties, ensuring consistent heat transfer and performance. This longevity translates to sustained CPU temperatures, minimizing the risk of thermal throttling and prolonging the lifespan of your components. Furthermore, the gray color of the TG-7 Thermal Grease allows for easy visibility during application. This ensures that you can visually confirm the coverage and ensure proper contact between the CPU and the heatsink. The high-quality formulation and excellent spreadability of the thermal grease result in a thin, even layer that optimizes heat transfer efficiency. In conclusion, the Thermaltake TG-7 Thermal Grease is an exceptional choice for anyone seeking optimal heat dissipation and performance in their computer builds. Its high thermal conductivity, precise application, long-lasting stability, and excellent spreadability make it an ideal thermal interface material. Whether you're building a new system or upgrading an existing one, the TG-7 Thermal Grease ensures efficient heat transfer, keeping your CPU cool and ensuring maximum performance. I highly recommend the Thermaltake TG-7 Thermal Grease for anyone looking to enhance their computer's thermal management and optimize overall system stability.

Thermaltake - TG-7 0.1-Oz. Thermal Grease - Gray This paste works great, easily applied and transfers heat very effectively. Overall it's an easy product to use due to the tubing and goes on well. Awesome product!
