They Might Be Giants - Glean - VINYL LP

After the Pacific Northwest grunge raids of the early '90s that saw Nirvana, Mudhoney, and even the Melvins hoisted up the major tag flagpole, Unwound's 1993 debut came as a welcomed reprieve for underground noise-niks everywhere. A pulsing cluster of wiry feedback, lurching bass, and single stroke rolls, Fake Train entangles the energies of frustrated backpack emo, faded Riot Grrrl back issues, and their own dash of teen spirit and unleashes it all in an earsplitting 10-song assault.

Double colored vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Director Rob Marshall's 2002 film Chicago was the rare Hollywood production that got a Broadway musical right, winning six Academy Awards including Best Picture and a Best Supporting Actress nod for Catherine Zeta-Jones. And it's soundtrack album was similarly decorated, winning a Grammy and reaching #2 on the charts. So, a on wax is a natural - we promise you that you're gonna have a heckuva good time spinning those magnificent Kander & Ebb songs on orange with black streaks 'Chicago Fire' vinyl! Includes all the tunes that were in the film and a couple that weren't, featuring that killer cast of Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger, Richard Gere, John C. Reilly, Queen Latifah, Christine Baranski, and more, plus Danny Elfman's score and all that jazz. Gatefold jacket brings the razzle dazzle with credits and stills from the film. A must!
