We love our Thor Ice maker! It provides and endless supply of ice for our many weekend gatherings and pairs perfectly with our Margaritaville machine in our pool house! No more running to the store to get ice for every gathering and figuring out where to store it in our limited freezer space! We’ve only had the ice maker about a month but so far, so good! It looks like it’s very well built, so we’re hoping it holds up for a very long time and lives up to the Thor slogan, “Cook Like a God.” The only improvement I would suggest is if they could offer a filter option so you could have filtered ice.

I give it 5 stars for its productivity. Ice does tend to clump, and when the pump kicks on it’s noisy. But every brand Ive owned has been noisy.

Very pleased with our Thor Icemaker. We have used in for one month, over the Christmas holidays. Lots of overnight guests and also an open house. Never ran out of ice.

Cosmetically, the unit looks great! I was super excited about adding the unit to my bar area, but for some reason the the ice does not freeze nor is it clear. Water sits in the reservoir in the back of the unit and doesn't seem to drain when the bin is full, which creates condensation inside the unit. Maybe the condensation is causing the ice not to freeze. Not what I expected out of the unit, which is why I have given it 3 stars. Actually I will be returning it if I can not get some answers from THOR's customer service.

This thing is built like a tank, looks great, has the built-in pump (which most units do not have!), and it churns out tons of ice quickly. Other than that, this thing is garbage. It is SO SO SO LOUD! When the compressor turns on during the ice-making phases, it sounds like a jet engine taking off. It is seriously about as loud as a push mower. Also the ice it makes is watery and half melted, like the other reviews state. SO! If you have an outdoor kitchen or a guest/lake house where this is to-be installed, you have found your perfect product. But for all other kitchens in normal houses, DO NOT BUY THIS (unless you're deaf!)

We purchased this product in October 2023. Not only was it defective at the time of installation, it leaked causing thousands of dollars of damage to our floors and we are still fighting with Thor on a replacement. They have sent out multiple repairmen who all agreed on the product as defective, and they continue to stall on a solution. They’ve even go so far as to insist that should they replace it, the warranty won’t be extended and will still be 2 years from the original purchase date. We’re filing a completely with BBB and reporting them to our bank as fraud. Stay away! Do not buy ANYTHING from this company.

Good Ice Maker for the price, easy setup. Ice Bin is removable so makes moving ice to cooler or ice buck very easy.

Makes a great amount of ice. Great with kids and sport bottles of water.

By fare one of my favarite buy to my kitchern. Consider we always have party at our house. The addition of this ice make with how fast it produce new ice could also be a good choice for any one to love to host partys like I do.

I love my Ice Maker, I have had several other brands in the past for my business, but I like this one the best! Cheryl

Ice maker is a must have. Helpful to not run out and have to get bagged ice.

The unit generates mold. I have followed the manufacturers cleaning recommendations to no avail and I have installed an external water filter, thus it is not an external water source issue. Thor does not appear to take any ownership of their warranty. Stay clear as it is not worth saving some money to buy this unit.
