A: I've had mine for almost a year. Pros: Ice maker is working fine, never had trouble with it. Seems to be going strong. Good sized ice cubes, fills up fast. Cons: My old fridge had separate dispensers for ice and water, this one doesn't. You toggle back and forth between ice and water. I worry about that button breaking (several years down the road) sticking me with only ice, or only water. Also, it's kind of a small reservoir. The volume is fine for normal use with our family of four, but you're never going to be able to fill an ice chest with it. Overall, I would say you don't need to be concerned based on what we've experienced. On a side note, we had a capacitor blow out (these things happen) and the first warning we got was from the ice maker dripping. So the location actually helped us in that instance. Since I brought it up, Thor was awesome in honoring their warranty. No questions asked. They fixed it for free. It took a bit of time to schedule the tech, but I've got no complaints.

Thor makes a great frig that is supper quiet!
Well designed, great layout. I bought this refrigerator because it had a noise rating of 45dBA, the quietest refrigerator I have ever owned. It replaces a 3-month-old Whirlpool Refrigerator that I bought from my Builder Pulte as an upgrade for my new home purchase. The upgraded Whirlpool refrigerator supplied by my builder was the loudest refrigerator I have ever owned, consistently putting out 61dBA of noise. Unfortunatley, neither Whirlpool or Pulte would do anything to resolve the issue of the fridge being noisey, They sent technicians out twice, whose response was that if it were cold then it is working as designed regardless to how loud it was. Back to the Thor refrigerator, besides Thor providing a Noise rating, which few offer. Cudo's to Thor for including a standard 2 year warranty with this refrigerator, all the others I looked out only came with a 1 year warranty. This is the nicest and quietest refrigerator I have ever owned, The best buy deliver was great, I bough through Best buy because they gave a 2 week return window, I did not want to chance being burned again with a loud refrigerator.
