The Three Friends were formed in 1954 at a time when Rock N Roll was in it's infancy. The group came together while all three members were attending New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY. Originally, the guys were intent upon developing a pop oriented vocal/comedy act, and had started to have some success performing in that vein. But the birth of Rock N Roll and a song about a girl named Blanche would thrust them in a different direction. The Three Friends were formed in 1954 while all three members (Tony Grochowski, Frank Stropoli, and Joe Villa) were attending New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY. The vocal group classic InchBlanche,Inch recorded in 1956, was an original song penned by the group, and inspired by a young lady who had attended their High School. Presented here along with the original single is their entire output from 1956 through 1957 which comprises 4 singles. Both InchJinxInch and InchChinese Tea RoomInch were released twice, making a total of six tracks. Newly remastered.
