Threshold - Hypothetical - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2018 . Formed in 2015 as a project of experienced, devoted musicians from German bands in the Black Forest region, Thron's initial goals were to play authentic black/death in the spirit of the early to mid '90s. Although born in Germany, Thron could originate from a Nordic country though heavily influenced by bands like Dissection, Unanimated, Sacramentum and Mercyful Fate among others, the band creates a blazing symbiosis of icy melodies, harshness and a haunting atmosphere. Thron deliver a hell of a 90's Nordic styled blackened heavy metal album with « Abysmal », one of a kind in nowadays's metal scene the band is currently arousing great interest and dedication from genuine metal fans worldwide.

Chapter 5 marks the final chapter in Hypocrisy's reissue campaign that brought you back all the classic records by this legendary melodic death metal group. Closing off with InchEnd Of DisclosureInch, the band's much-lauded 2013 album, which features grisly alien artwork by Wes Bescoter (Nile, Autopsy, Bloodbath), and the group's cult live record InchDestroys WackenInch - another gem from their gigantic discography finally available on vinyl for the first time - Hypocrisy's catalogue is now restored in it's entirety. Both albums have been remastered by Miro Kiiski in 2026 to ensure a stunning sonic journey into the depths of Hypocrisy's impressive legacy.

Album #10 by prog metal band Threshold is hard-hitting, unstoppable and full of nuclear energy. The final album to feature vocalist Damian Wilson, it is the end of an era; but what a way to go out!
