The buttons are responsive, and the feedback is good. The lightweight makes it better for competitive gameplay, and the accuracy is amazing. Haven’t had stick drift customizable triggers, and joysticks are good to have.

PROS: I love the feel of the stiff thumbsticks. They feel very smooth while aiming in my favorite games. ABXY are flat and very easy to press I really like them. The dpad is a slight upgrade compared to the stock controller. Back buttons are in a good place and easy to press. CONS: The triggers feel almost loose and I wish there were trigger stops considering the price. The bumpers are NOT CLICKY. On the h.e.a.r.t, the bumpers feel mushy and I prefer the stock bumpers. Menu and share buttons are awkward because i find myself miss clicking alot. The controller does feel cheap and doesn’t really have grip. An issue I encounter with the controller on xbox is that it disconnects while still being plugged in if you pull the cable. I dont know why this happens because my screen says controller disconnected but the rgb is still on. Could be an Xbox issue. Other reviews stated discomfort holding the controller, and I think stock does feel better, but it isnt the worst. The software app is great too. The stick DO FEEL DIFFERENT in a good way. I have had the thrustmaster h.e.a.r.t controller for almost a week and I like it.

Beautiful contriller and origonally purchased it because of the Halls Effect gimbal. If youre tired of replacing controllers after controllers, (due to the notorious stick drifts) seek a controller that has Halls Effects. The look and feel is similar to the OEM feel, with additional buttons on the back. Has an led light strip that can either be baby blue or a nice xbox green. Downsides, it is wired for Xbox, and over time the connection from controller to Xbox will have many disconnections (as of today, 1/10/26) and will add to many game frustrations. I normally utiilize this controller for OverWatch and BF6, but when playing games that require less "harsh" usage, such as HogWarts Legacy, or Dragoncs Quest Builder, my OEM controller will do fine.

can't stress this enough this controller hands down a must have... No batteries for infinite play time, very fast response times, the clicky tactical feel to the buttons, the hall effect joysticks, buttons modes with one click, adjustable lighting, my only issue is the hight of the controller was a little small (my hands are larger than most) but joystick covers made it perfect and feel premium. looks perfect with a black and white setup. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who enjoys gaming and hates spending $50 every 1 year to 3 years because of stick drift or it no longer turns on. In fact, I actually like this design so much. I'd love to see these features in a handheld like the ROG ally, I feel like it would have a much nicer feel over the competition they have

Bought the only one in stock at my local best buy after release definitely would have given a 5 star rating until about 2 days ago when in anything but the thrustmaster app the left stick is stuck moving down and even in the app the right trigger is at a constant half press wish i could provide a video showing the drift but after opening the app with a different controller and then connecting it i was able to at least provide a picture of the trigger

The Thrustmaster H.E.A.R.T Controller works great on PC. Just plug and play. The USB-C cord provides plenty of length to connect to wherever your PC or console is located. The color is white on the left, and black on the right with a led line separating the colors. The plastic feels good to the touch and seems sturdy. It’s only half a pound, 214g, so it’s not heavy. The LED can be cycled through 6 different colors, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple, Red, and Cyan, and you can change the light intensity. You also have a 3.5mm audio jack. You can mute, and change the volume from the gamepad. Out of the box you can control most functions and options through various button presses. There are total of 16 buttons with 2 on the button being duplicates of other buttons. The gamepad also has left and right vibration in the handles. The controller buttons and mini-sticks were responsive and accurate. I had no drift in use. The controller was immediately recognized by various games as a controller. Whether in racing or sims, other types of games the controller preformed well. You can press the on/off button to turn off the controller if needed. Button location is good, and everything is in reach. I would say this is not for big hands, it will a little cramped if you have bigger hands. Thumbs fit in the mini-sticks nicely for easy control. The rumble is good, but can last a little long at times. The buttons on the underside of the unit can duplicate other buttons to customize the way you want to play. Hardware wise, it’s a solid gamepad and does what you need. The Thrustmaster Thrustmapper X software gives you the ability to fine tune and remap in a slick Graphical User Interface (GUI). The download is small and for many of the Thrustmaster gamepads. For the H.E.A.R.T you can remap the two bottom buttons and control the sensitivity and dead zones of the mini-sticks. This really lets you make the controller work the way you want. The software is easy to use, and you have 2 profiles to save your different configurations. Whether you just plug and play, or adjust with the Thrustmaster software, this gamepad is responsive and works the way you want it too. Without the software you still have customizations you can do. The software opens all of the custom options available. The Hall Effect should work for a long time. In the time I used it, I had no drift or issues using the mini-sticks. The only issue maybe if you have large hands it may feel a little cramped. Overall, it’s a solid gamepad.

When I got my hands on the Thrustmaster HEART Controller, I was curious to see if it could live up to the hype. The main thing that caught my attention was its Hall Effect tech. This is supposed to eliminate stick drift, something I’ve dealt with this on a few other controllers, so the idea of a controller with zero stick drift was cool Right off the bat, I could tell the accuracy was on point. The controller claims to track within 0.01 degrees, which honestly sounded like overkill, but shooting and moving felt really nice and super smooth. The mechanical buttons are a SUPER nice touch, they feel so much nicer and essentially feel like a mechanical keyboard but with buttons. I LOVE the sound they make. The customization options were also a pleasant surprise. Using the ThrustmapperX software, I could remap buttons and tweak the thumbstick sensitivity, which is something I always enjoy. Plus, I could change the LED strip in the middle to different colors. The two extra buttons on the back are also programmable, which is awesome. I will say the software is very non-user friendly as of now and required a lot of exploring and tweaking. Would love to see some updates that simplifies it alot more. Design-wise, the controller has a unique look with its two-tone color scheme and LED strip running down the middle. I actually like the style, it’s flashy without being over-the-top, and it looks pretty sleek alongside my Xbox setup. The weight is pretty different from the OG xbox controller which took some getting used to and I really wish they added the textured grips on the side for better control. I really do hope they make a wireless version of this controller. While wired isn't a deal breaker, it is a very nice quality of life addition. Overall, I think the Thrustmaster HEART Controller is a solid choice. The Hall Effect sticks are a big improvement over standard designs, especially if you’re tired of stick drift ruining your experience. The customizability is a great bonus, and while the wired connection is a bit of a drawback, it’s not enough to turn me away. If you’re looking for something durable and precise, this is the controller for you.

Like so many other gaming enthusiasts, I’ve had my share of high-priced controllers (SCUF, Elite, Elite 2) lose precision over time, eventually requiring some software dead zone adjustments to keep stick drift from taking over. My ROG Ally and Ally X have hall-effect triggers, but the Thrustmaster H.E.A.R.T. is the first controller I’ve used with hall-effect sticks—I must say, I’m sold! Hall-effect (and the even-newer TMR sensor) joysticks completely take the possibility of stick drift out of the equation and are arguably a must for anyone who values control precision and longevity in their gaming gear, especially if you’ve already felt the sting of a pricey stick repair for an already pricey controller. Construction can charitably be characterized as pretty good, which is unfortunate because there’s some great hardware under the hood. But the H.E.A.R.T. just doesn’t feel *premium* in the hand as the shell is entirely satin-finished plastic with a bit of additional VERY subtle crosshatch texturing on the grips. Some rubberized comfort grip material would be welcome and would help make the H.E.A.R.T. feel a bit more substantial in the hand (the fact that the controller is wired and therefore incredibly light also doesn’t help matters in this regard). The braided USB-A to USB-C cable sits securely within a deep recess at the top of the controller for substantial strain relief, and it is about 2m long so you shouldn’t have much trouble plugging it into an open port unless you simply game WAAAAYYYYY back away from the console or PC. Non-action buttons (Share, Options, Menu, etc.) are uniformly small, and with my slightly larger hands, I was routinely pressing the profile switch and mapping buttons which are the same size and oriented on the same angles as the Menu and Options buttons. It took me a little time to get used to the placement. Given that changing the user profiles and re-mapping face buttons aren’t things I typically do on the fly, moving those two buttons to the bottom or somewhere else out of the way would have helped reduce confusion and mishits during use. Speaking of the bottom, Thrustmaster thoughtfully includes a 3.5mm combo jack along with a mic-mute button for those of you using wired headsets—nice. The L/R bumpers and face buttons are low-profile mechanical switches that require virtually no travel to actuate. This is great for those who want to shave every nanosecond off their button-press response time and activation speeds, but if you’re used to the domed-shapes and longer-throw of traditional Xbox controller face buttons, you may find that the effect surprisingly makes the controller feel just a little *cheapish*…like it’s an add-on controller for a phone rather than a dedicated controller for those with serious gaming intentions. I know that’s not entirely fair as the mechanical buttons legitimately do buy you greater responsiveness with lower actuation force/time/distance, but the difference is stark enough that it is worth mentioning because the initial change in sensation might feel a little off-putting. Personally, once I got used to the different button action, I really liked the responsiveness and reduction in fatigue while gaming. I don’t know for sure if the D-pad is also mechanical; I'm guessing it probably is because it features the same kind of shallow/quick throw as the face buttons which made directionals feel very responsive. Thumbstick tension is pleasingly solid without any kind of loose or sloppy feel to them; with the added precision that the hall-effect sensors provide for stick movements, that extra bit of resistance helps make slight or ultra-fine in-game movements easier to pull off. The thumbstick toppers are concave with a slightly rubberized fine-pebble-like texture; there are no additional toppers in the package so anything you want to do with the sticks (new toppers, shorter or longer stalks) will probably require some controller surgery and slip-on toppers. Personally, I loathe having to use thumbstick clicks for frequent in-game actions like walk/run or environmental scans, which is why I was stoked to see the H.E.A.R.T. includes some back paddles. However, unlike many controllers with rear paddles, the two on the H.E.A.R.T. are oriented vertically rather than horizontally, with raised rest-points for your fingertips positioned nearly at the bottom of the controller’s backplate. It’s a bit of an unconventional design and some of you with smaller/shorter fingers may struggle a bit getting used the extra extension of your middle fingers that is necessary to actuate the paddles. The controller’s face features a strip of RGB running from the bottom middle to the upper left. The asymmetrical RGB is cool and all, but everyone knows that RGB makes you game better; some additional RGB rings around the face buttons that match the Xbox button colors (or even RGB behind the Xbox button itself) would have been a cool way to add a bit more character to the otherwise starkly black and white facing. Just be aware that adjusting the RGB strip’s color and intensity are not features found in the ThrustmapperX companion app--you can only make those adjustments using a combination of the Profile button and up/down or left/right adjustments on the D-pad. Moving on to the L/R triggers, they sadly lack any kind of trigger stops, so you will have to contend with the full range of trigger pull for any trigger-related actions. Naturally, you can adjust the actuation point of the trigger pull in software, but a simple mechanical trigger stop would have been a nice way to suit varied playstyles and would definitely complement the sensation of the shorter throw of all the other mechanical buttons. The ergonomics of the triggers themselves are the only other big point of contention I have with the H.E.A.R.T. gamepad. Compared to other Xbox controllers I’ve used, the width of the flat portion of the triggers is a bit narrow with a sharp 90-degree drop-off at the inside edges of the triggers. The triggers are also oriented such that they run straight back rather than angled/flared out to the sides. This required me to bend my trigger fingers slightly inwards to sit across the top surface of the triggers--I’ve included a comparison photo to a few other controllers to illustrate what I mean. Together, these two design elements proved a bit uncomfortable and fatiguing for me during long-term use. Again, I have slightly larger hands, so this may not be a problem for a gamer with smaller digits than me, but (sadly) I’ll be passing this controller along to my daughter rather than keeping it for myself. For personalization and customization, you have the option of using both the companion ThrustmapperX app, as well as a host of features and adjustments available directly on the H.E.A.R.T. controller itself. For example, the app allows you to remap buttons and create/save two onboard controller profiles, adjust dead zones and response curves for the thumbsticks, adjust dead zones and pull for the triggers, change rumble and vibration intensity, and update the controller’s firmware. But just using the buttons on the controller itself, you can also remap button settings stored in the controller profiles or enable/disable the back paddles, and you can use the mute button in combination with up/down and left/right on D-pad to adjust headset volume or chat/game mix, neither of which are accessible in ThrustmapperX. Regardless of whether you find the various features and design elements I’ve described above appealing or potentially troublesome, I can at least say with resounding confidence that the hall-effect joysticks really *are* a compelling reason to invest in this controller--they work exactly as advertised and the results are pure gaming perfection. I can set my controller’s dead zone to zero with abandon and adjust the response curve to my liking and gameplay is every bit as exact and precise and drift-free as I could possibly hope for. Thrustmaster has been a big name in gaming controls for an awfully long time and this latest gamepad of theirs is definitely a big step in the right direction given everything it brings to the table. A little more refinement in ergonomics--at least for my anatomy--and this controller would be a keeper without thinking twice. As it is, I still give it a hearty recommendation, especially if you’ve been dying to find out whether hall-effect sensors are really worth it in the end (bottom line: they definitely are).

This controller doesn’t play games when it comes to playing games! It is all business and focused on getting the most efficient movements into the game from your hands. What do I mean? Well, for starters, the buttons have no slop, play, pre-travel or overtravel AND they are near silent. They are micro switches with a small actuation distance, short movement from the button at rest to the button being pressed and bottomed out. This makes for really fast button presses while in game and when a button needs to be pressed over and over again…it allows it to happen with the quickness and with VERY LITTLE MOVEMENT from the finger using the button. This also applies to the D-Pad, bumpers and rear buttons. The bumpers have a little more travel in them than the other buttons but the throw on them is still short and way more legit than my other controllers but they are “mushy” compared to the other buttons. The X, Y, A, B buttons are also flat top buttons and do not have a convex or concave shape to them…they are all flat and I actually LOVE this about the controller. It allows my thumb to move and press the one I want really quickly without hitting other buttons by accident and it is super comfortable to use for hours and hours. So it is quicker and more comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the size of the controller, in my opinion, is the sweet spot for larger small hands through large hands. I am a Contractor and I have big hands but not huge hands and I find the size to be perfect enough that my pointer fingers do not touch the USB C wire connection on the top of the controller with any sort of normal grip. THE STAR OF THE SHOW here is THE STICKS!!! I love the sticks…and probably more than I should because I switched to the controller from a controller that had stick drift that I dealt with for months. BUT the sticks here are sweet! They have stick caps that are sized right for the rest of the controller and they feel superb. My control and aim has definitely improved using this controller vs. my other controllers. The sticks are really, really sweet. I have precise control with them and the stick presses are short and snappy. Speaking of, second best would be a toss up between the triggers and the rear remappable buttons. The triggers are smooth and speedy with good resistance. Personally I would like a tad bit more resistance but that is REALLY nitpicking and I would be worthy to receive an eye roll IRL if I was at Thrustmaster and said that in a feedback meeting. WARNING! Once you set up the rear buttons and get used to them it will be a HUGE brain vs. fingers battle to go back to a controller without rear remappable buttons. …..but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE REAR BUTTONS! They are in the perfect spot for my middle finger to hit them and they are also microswitches so they are very easy to actuate without being easy to press by accident….even with my middle finger “riding” the button the entire time. I lover being able to have a finger in contact with a specific action at all times during game play. It has improved my game play in many ways…and in-game response to game events. Rear Buttons are now a “must have” for me though, because going back to a regular controller after getting used to the rear buttons is really hard to do. I am always looking for a rear button on controllers that don’t have them now. Also, the rear buttons, mapped the way I have them, allow me to keep both thumbs on the sticks while being able to jump around with one button and switch in and out of build modes with the other so I can build “forts” faster and keep my thumbs on the sticks for edits without having to take my right thumb off the stick to press the B button to deal with building and editing. Soooooo NICE! Rear buttons are now a non negotiable for me on any controller I am considering to use or buy. THE SOFTWARE allows the standard control over setting on the sticks, remapping the rear buttons, control over sensitivity/travel points of the triggers and customizing vibration settings. Pretty basic and standard controller software. The controller and software does allow for different presets to be stored within the software and the controller can hold 2 of those profiles at a time. So controller setup between games or game modes can be set up the way someone would like it and the controller can be swapped to the alternate profile with a press of a button on the controller. Alternate profiles can be swapped in and out of the controller with the software and only takes a couple of seconds once they are set up and saved inside the software. What surprised me was the lack of RGB control inside the software and the lack of RGB options on the controller. The controller can only display a solid color on the color strip that is down the middle when selected and programmed directly from the controller. No custom RGB settings, no color changing effects, no nothing. Just pick a color and pick a brightness of that color, that is all that is available. Disappointing in a controller at this price point. THERE IS NO WAY TO RECALIBRATE THE TRIGGERS! I found this out the hard way because my right trigger started to “press itself” just slightly near the rest positions. So games think I am firing or slightly holding it down. I was able to adjust where the trigger should start to be recognized with the software but not able to recalibrate the trigger so the controller could figure out how to handle this itself and return the full travel of the trigger to my control like it should be normally. I do not know why a brand new controller started doing that with literally ZERO abuse or hard use on it. Instead of being able to deal with that issue in the software the controller needs to be replaced with a new one. I am not holding it against the controller because I have had worse happen to both established products and new items to market…AND I think this is an isolated incident and not applicable to the entire product run. It is worthy of note though as I cannot update this review once posted and in the interest of full disclosure. OVERALL, this is a Very Nice Controller That Means Business When It Is Time To Play Games & You Don’t Want To “Play Games.” When it is time to get down to business, try hard or get sweaty then this is a solid choice when looking at the controller options. The size, shape, feel and press of the buttons is sublime and built for speed and efficiency. The sticks are AMAZING and I am looking forward to not having drift issues like I have dealt with in the past. The size is great for me and I can see most others also liking it. From kids to adults, the size should be manageable for most. The rear buttons ARE AMAZING and in the perfect spot. I was not in love with the look of the controller at first sight, but now that I have it, it has grown on me and I like it more. The RGB options are lack luster and the lack of RGB control and options is disappointing on this one. The big picture here is that this is a Great Controller for aiming and precision gaming. I love the access to two profiles that are hot swappable in game with a button press. Access to home and screen recording options on the fly on PC is nice to have. The controller works perfectly on both XBOX and PC. I LOVE this controller and I would ab. so. lute. ly. Order it again and recommend it to others. I love how the buttons do not have all that wiggle and jiggle in them and it just “feels” like it purpose built to be a performance enhancing controller and it has helped me perform better in game than with a standard controller and even though it has a cord, it is worth dealing with because it never gets disconnected and there is no latency. A++++ controller and I would tell anyone that this should be on their list if in the market for a no nonsense controller that is comfortable, easy to use, easy to set up and program and PRECISE!

The controller looks funky with the black/white design which I rather like. The controller is quite light, making it feel a little cheap. I wish there was some rubber coating or better texture on the handles as the plastic is a bit too smooth. Ergonomically speaking, the controller itself fits well in my medium-sized hands. However, the trigger buttons cut sharply outwards digging into my fingers, which became uncomfortable and even a bit painful in games that require continuous pressure such as driving games. Also, the back buttons underneath the controller are in a place that makes them easy to press accidentally, and so I had to continuously adjust my grip. I decided to disable them. The ABXY buttons, thumbsticks, and D-pad, are in the traditional places, so no complaints there. There are buttons for RGB, mapping, and social medial control above the system and select buttons, which I kept pressing by mistake. Hopefully this won’t be an issue once muscle memory builds up. I appreciate the 3.8mm audio/mic which works well and drives most headset I have. Also, the vibration is just as good as the official controller. The ABXY buttons are a joy to press and are extremely responsive. I never suffered a missed press. The button travel is rather shallow, but this helps faster activation. The same goes for the hall effect thumbsticks. They are impressively accurate in that even a slight press will be registered without any drift whatsoever. This was super helpful in games where precision is key such as FPS and driving sims. The X-shaped D-pad also features mechanical actuators that gave me no false diagonal inputs, which is great for traditional fighting games. Unfortunately, the trigger and thumbstick buttons’ sensitivity gave me trouble when playing FPS competitively as actions occurred when I didn’t intend to, costing me performance and accuracy -and even some matches. There are some quality-of-life benefits that are welcome, such as the ability to create macros on the back buttons (M1, M2), changing LED color and intensity, muting mic, and managing headset/mic volume. In the end, the overall experience is OK. Playing adventure, RPGs, and casual games is great. If it wasn’t for the comfort or accidental presses in twitch-style games, this would have been a great HE controller for the right price.

Likes: the analog sticks feel really good and you can definitely notice the difference in aiming. The controller weight feels good and buttons are responsive. This controller does everything perfect that it says it does. Dislikes: the d-pad just seems cheap and feels weird, the little buttons like the start button share buttons not a big deal but they are def to small. The back paddles are in a weird spot but i have big hands so i can reach them no problem it would be better if they were positioned how the gamesir back buttons are. Overall the controller feels good and is super responsive and I recommend this over the elite series 2 well because the elites get stick drift and the buttons to me arent as responsive

The Heart Controller is one of Thrustmaster’s latest game controllers aimed at entry level users. So is this any good? Out of the box is the game controller itself, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, and a few multi-language quick start guides. Upon taking it out, it is a bit smaller than other game controllers which is a plus for those with small hands. It has all the usual buttons found in most controllers. And upon testing the controllers, the buttons are clicky which is good. Also, there are two back buttons which gives its additional functionality and this is an uncommon feature in game controllers. It’s not groundbreaking as higher end controllers are having them already. Also, given that it has a USB-A cable it can be played in a variety of formats from PC to Xbox. One thing neat in this controller is that is has mic support and a headphone jack. Me and my son are casual gamers but we haven’t seen one that has mic support and a headphone jack. But perhaps there are other models out there already. Needless to say, this is a welcome feature. Upon first use of this model, both my son and I found the controller not to be “grippy”. It is made from plastic which is a bit slippery to the touch. Other controllers either have a rubber/silicone coating or the plastic used has a “grippy”. Overall, the plastic used makes the build quality border on the “cheap” side. I also mentioned that the controls are responsive and has good latency. However the low rise joysticks for me make precise movements a bit more difficult. I wish this model has higher rise joy sticks. Overall this unit is not bad but also neither that great. But then again, Thrustmaster does not tout this model as an advanced model but as an entry level one. The smaller size again may appeal to younger users who have smaller hands. So if you are in the market for a basic controller, the Thrustmaster Heart Controller is an option to consider.

I can't sing enough praises about this controller! I like to keep my reviews short, and to the point. As a 4-8 hour daily gamer, the FEEL of a controller is the absolute highest priority. If it doesn't feel good, no matter what the other bells and whistles are, I'm not going to use it. And I'm happy to report this controller FEELS good, tight, right out of the box. I'm not a competitive gamer, but precision and accuracy is very important in fast paced games. The short actuation that's advertised does actually make a difference. I love the buttons are quick and snappy, and the thumb stick/d pad are precise. I play COD and SF6 and this hits the spot. Don't get me wrong, the original controller that comes with the console is near flawless. This definitely give it a run for it's money for it's feel and precision. For the two major things advertised, the hall effect/drift from wear and tear, I've had this guy for 2 weeks, averaging 5 hours a day, is in no way a good enough stress test to give a report. If it does achieve what it advertise, then I'd say it's a near perfect controller. The software, as you can see in my screen shot, also adds a couple of more features when you attach to a PC. I love that. Further making it feel customized to your games and hands definitely adds an extra layer of value. My only complaint, which is not really a complaint and is subjective, is the aesthetics. I'm sure there are people who like the half white half black green design. But it's just not for me. I didn't take away a star for this because this is a subjective thing.

I purchased the thrustmaster controller for the anti-analog stick tilt, and the analog stick is very precise. The buttons are easy to press quickly however, they are very easy to press on accident or harder to light tap with. The ergonomics dosent fit my hand too well (I have average sized hands) so it is a bit awkward to hold. All in all a decent controller just not for me.

The Thrustmaster HEART Hall effect controller continues the tradition of Thrustmaster making quality controllers for all the games you play. The Hall effect sticks are accurate and easily adjustable, the buttons feel solid, and there is some customizability to the controller that doesn't require any software installation (though you'll want it for adjusting sensitivity and setting what the underside paddle buttons do). The only fault with this controller is the d-pad being a little loose, but otherwise it's a very solid choice. The standout feature are the Hall effect sticks. I found them to be far more accurate than any standard analog stick I've used in the past. They also had resistance I've only found in very high-end controllers, which makes it easier to aim weapons and steer vehicles in game as the resistance forces me to be more accurate. The one drawback I had was the d-pad. It felt loose, and while not the worst d-pad I've ever used, it's hard to use it once you've used d-pads that use switches instead of membranes. The only thing I wish was more clear was customizing the lighting on the controller. While it's easily done, it should either be something that can be software controller or should be more obvious. Still, had the d-pad been more solid, I could rate this controller higher. Since the d-pad is loose, I have to knock it down a star because fighting and puzzle games felt a little lacking because of this. Still, I can recommend the Thrustmaster HEART controller for anyone on PC or Xbox who wants a solid controller with a unique look to it

So I like many FPS gamers who play on PC use a controller vs a mechanical keyboard. Because it’s just easier and it’s what we know. I’ve used several different aftermarket controllers that include programmable back buttons. Honestly once you try it, you can not go back to not using back buttons. They just make gaming especially playing games like warzone, apex legends and the like so much better so you don’t have to move your main fingers off the buttons. So I wanted to upgrade from my more basic recon controller to this higher end thrustmaster. And while I can say it’s definitely an upgrade as far are the tactile buttons and quick aim time and especially the options to customize to your liking via the app, I have to say that the back buttons(main selling point imo) are a bit too small and not positioned properly. I have gotten use the small size and weird placement but they did not design it properly unfortunately. This is my situation and maybe you will love them. But for me this is a little disappointing. I was so excited. But I am still going to use this controller and hope I get used to it. Design is great for sure. Plus the little light strip is an added bonus too. Not too much and not too little. Controller is built nicely as well it’s not cheaply made I’m sure it will last many years. I wish it was wireless but that would increase the price significantly and introduce latency so I get it. I do recommend so long as the back buttons work for you because everything else is great. Maybe on their next design they will make the back buttons bigger and lower.

Decent controller, but not for 100 dollars. The controller feels ok in the hands, but feels like it is made of cheaper plastic. The face buttons, hall effect sticks and back buttons feels good when using. The triggers are not shaped right and cut into your fingers if used for extended period of time. Overall it is an ok controller if you can get it for 50-60 dollars and don't use the triggers alot.

Bought this controller open box, overall, its awesome. Nice and firm sticks with a solid build. Picked it up because of the hall effecr sticks. Though i wish it was wireless somtimes.
