Tiffen - 6.6x6.6" Soft/FX 1/2 Special Effects Filter

After investing in the 6.6x6.6" Ultra Pol Linear Polarizer Filter, your photography will reach new heights of clarity and vibrancy. This high-quality, durable filter is a fusion of a Warming 85 color conversion filter and an Ultra Pol linear polarizing filter, ingeniously combined into one compact, easy-to-use tool. The Warming 85 filter effectively decreases the color temperature from 5500 to 3400K, subtly warming your images for a more inviting, natural feel. On the other hand, the Ultra Pol linear polarizing filter, which is non-rotating, works to enhance color and contrast in your photos. One common issue in photography is the whitish glare that can wash out color, often caused by reflected light. This professional-grade polarizer filter addresses this issue head-on, producing deep, dramatically blue skies and removing glare from non-metallic surfaces like windows and water. The versatility of this filter is evident in its ability to significantly improve color saturation, especially in outdoor settings. Unlike a circular polarizer, this linear polarizer is designed for use with manual cameras, delivering its strongest polarizing effect when used at a 90½ angle from the sun. The total filter factor of this combination filter is approximately 6x, requiring 2.6 stops of additional exposure. The Ultra Pol is specifically designed to increase the polarizing effect beyond that of a standard polarizer, offering an enhanced reduction of reflections and greater color saturation. In essence, the 6.6x6.6" Ultra Pol Linear Polarizer Filter is an essential tool for any photographer seeking to capture images with more depth, contrast, and true-to-life colors.
