Tigers Jaw - Charmer - VINYL LP

Since first meeting as midwestern high-schoolers in 2009, Citizen have emerged as one of the most promising young bands in the alternative underground today. The band signed to Run For Cover Records in early 2012, releasing their EP Young States that year as well as a split with labelmates Turnover. In February of 2013, Citizen entered Studio 4 with producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive, Daylight) to record Youth, their debut full-length. From the first note of album opener InchRoam The RoomInch, the fuzzy, guitar-driven rock songs bleed emotion straight through to closer InchDrawn OutInch. A real cool band. Characterized by unconventionally catchy songs, weaving harmonies, and timelessly relatable lyricism, Tigers Jaw have been organically increasing a fanbase over a decade-plus of touring and releasing music. The latest effort, I Won't Care How You Remember Me, showcases a band who is confident and adventurous, forging trust in friendship alongside musicianship over years of steady touring. Tigers Jaw crafted a timeless and dynamic album that is both a confident step forward and an essential in an already celebrated catalogue of music. Aptly described as the middle ground between Fleetwood Mac and Saves the Day, Tigers Jaw have managed to progress and evolve while preserving the spirit of their modest origins in the scrappy DIY Scranton punk scene. Tigers Jaw Forever. Album Tracks 1. Return 2. Coil/Recoil 3. Smile 4. Two Worlds 5. Let Go/Trashed Floors 6. Test Pattern 7. Windmills 8. I Saw the Wolf 9. Buona Pizza 10. Static 11. Influential rock band Tigers Jaw returns with Lost on You, a riveting seventh studio album produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip (Turnstile, Scowl). The record builds upon the critical success of 2021's I Won't Care How You Remember Me, refining their vulnerable yet self-assured style with newfound dynamics, textures, and tones. Through their chemistry and forthrightness with one another, Tigers Jaw have reached a new apex of creativity, a peak from which the band processes the life changes that eventually come for everyone. Lost On You electrifyingly captures the beauty of simply letting go, remembering that you've survived what you've already experienced, and knowing that you'll get through life's latest transitions. Walsh says that InchPrimary Colors,Inch a bright and pensive track with a wailing, melancholy guitar solo, is about Inchyour feelings being completely overwhelmed and taken over. It's an all-encompassing, full-body experience.Inch It's meaningful advice in times of crisis stay present amid the highs and lows alike, and there's glory to be found.
