Tiken Jah Fakoly - Chorales - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The great voice of African reggae offers us his first acoustic album. He reinvents his greatest hits (Tonton d'America, Africain à Paris, Plus rien ne m'étonne, Ça va faire mal...), and invites a host of French and international artists to join him (Bernard Lavilliers, Chico César, Naâman, Horace Andy, -M-, Tiggs Da Author...). A must-have in his discography!

Highly anticipated new album (the 11th) from the African Reggae Voice. Militant and sharp in his texts, powerful and unstoppable in his groove. Recorded between Abidjan, Bamako and Paris. Co-produced by Jamaican veteran Tyrone Downie (Bob Marley), and French musicians Guillaume Stepper (Sly & Robbie) and Mael Donion (City Kay). Features apprearances by Amadou & Mariam, Grand Corps Malade, Winston McAnuff and Dub Inc. Sung in French, English, doula and Bambara. One of this year's major works in World Music.
