Leila has already released three albums, a trilogy if you will. In 2009 she started to write a body of work that felt different. Maybe it was being sober, but this one seemed to be about being more direct. Leila first met Mt. Sims at a fancy dress party way back in 2006. Leila went as Leila. Mt. Sims dressed as a Computer Processing Unit fashioned from a cardboard box with strategically placed slits. She had admired his music since his work on Gigolo Records, she was most happy when he introduced himself and said he was a fan. Fast-Forward to 2009, Leila decided the man who had dressed as a C. P. U. was the perfect voice for this new body of work. 'In Consideration' was made within two hours of him arriving at her home studio, when it comes to noise she doesn't like to waste any time. Then came an intense period of sonic interactions. 'Welcome to Your Life' was particularly fun in it's inception. Backing track pretty complete, as Leila watched Countdown Mt. Sims casually wrote a song Leila liked it a lot. Two visits and some acapella swapping over Dropbox later (both InchAnywayInch and InchU&IInch were done within 30 minutes of Leila receiving the acapellas), the album was complete. The artwork is a picture taken of a very special computer crash revealing it's internal architecture. Like an imaginary moment when you can look at a human being and see their organs and bones rather than the layers of veneer.

Breaking the creative pattern of his last several albums, Tim Barry recorded these tracks at the legendary spacebomb studio in Richmond with the house band as his main players. Coming into her own musically, his daughter lela jane barry lays down harmonizing vocal tracks. His unique perspectives and commentary, delivered in his signature musical style, will have his fans young and old singing along again and again.

Tim's self-titled, all-acoustic solo CD draws material and inspiration from the Anne and Frank Warner collection of American folk songs, the early American hymnody of the Sacred Harp, and a host of other historical and personal resources. This collection of songs about love and death, joy, despair, redemption and, ultimately, hope confirms his prowess as a stunningly intense vocalist, versatile multi-instrumentalist (guitar, fiddle and banjo), and true believer in the timeless spirit of American music. The CD was recorded in one five-hour session using no overdubs, providing an undiluted dose of Eriksen's passionate voice, instrumental skills and deep respect for musical tradition. Eriksen's star is currently ascending with his role as arranger and vocalist in the Christmas 2003 blockbuster historical film, 'Cold Mountain,' which is bringing his love of 'shape note' singing to a new and receptive audience of critics and music fans. Bio After years of making 'uncommercial' music as a punk-rocker, as leader of various bands performing classic and forgotten American ballads, 'shape note' singing and traditional Bosnian music, and as a solo singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Tim Eriksen is an improbable but potential candidate for popular recognition as The Next Big Thing. His profile has risen with the Christmas 2003 of the movie 'Cold Mountain,' on which he served as a musical consultant, arranger and vocalist and bonded with the film's musical producer, T Bone Burnett, whose production of the 'O Brother, Where Are Thou?' film's Grammy-winning, multi-million-selling soundtrack CD made bluegrass and oldtime music viable commodities. Eriksen and Burnett are currently continuing their musical relationship via an album of Sacred Harp recordings, a track for the Coen Brothers' remake of the British film, 'The Ladykillers,' and are considering collaborating on a seco
