Best game played ever great great great awesomeone

This game takes me back to the first Lara Croft. Yahoo

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and all of them pretty much said the same thing...why don't you own this yet? I bought the Xbox One Edition since I never bought the Xbox 360 version. I can't speak to how much better the graphics are since I have no comparison, but it is a very pretty game. However, it's the gameplay that matters the most, and this game is nearly perfect! The controls are tight, and the gameplay mechanics don't get old too quickly. There are quite a few quick time events which I've never been fond of, but they're easily overlooked considering how fun the rest of the game is. I love action/adventure games with puzzles and this is all of that. Definitely worth buying!

Great graphics... enjoyed all the action. Good story line. Will recommend to everyone who likes action.

This game is a blast to play and I actually played through the twice. Great story and awesome graphics. Controls are eay to use. I recommend this game to anyone who likes action story games.

After playing several flux Tomb Raiders from the last 2 generations, This rebirth is definitely the best Tomb Raider in the franchise. The characters and environment are well detailed, the gameplay is refined, and the story is better told than any other Tomb Raider in the series. However, the multiplayer is weak and somewhat underdone. I hope the sequel will fix that in December, but it is a great replacement to Uncharted.

Although I am not even half way through with the campaign mode I love this game. The graphics are amazing down to subtleties like the arrows rustling in her quiver. Game play is fast and challenging. Although the story line is the standard, it still feels fresh. This game brings out the best of XBOX ONE graphic capabilities.

It started out a solid game and continued it story line was great gameplay great and graphics outstanding can't wait for more releases as great as the definitive edition 4 stars because some of the quick action is pretty hard to time right for me at least good luck have fun this game is a must have

Game is fun throughout with an interesting story line. It takes an appropriate amount of time (not too long, not too short). It has excellent graphics. It's an A+ game in my opinion.

I played the original one on my Xbox 360 and LOVED every minute of it. I sold it...then I bought this one on sale for about $20. Part of me wishes I hadn't. While the update is a rather major one, the core game and story is exactly the same so I found myself being less motivated to finish it. If you found yourself playing through the original one multiple times then you probably wouldn't suffer from what I did. Because I had exhausted the original one the whole game had a "been there done that" feel to it that couldn't keep me going. With all of that said...if you haven't played it on either system then this is the one to get and you ABSOLUTELY should buy it! It's an incredible game.

The Tomb Raider game is great in creating some immersive situations. It has a good story and good action with plenty of side challenges as well.

Even if the gameplay were stale or frustrating, this would be worth playing just for the storytelling. Outstanding graphics, top-notch voice acting, and a compelling plot keep you pushing forward. The platforming puzzles are creative and challenging while the controls still allow them to be fun. The bow is a kick. The other weapons feel a little second-string, and the action sequences can feel a little bit unwieldy. If you liked the Uncharted series, this game is a good way to get your fix on the Xbox console.

I'm about 50% into the game so far and it's been pretty fun. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is smooth. Controls are straightforward. Scavenging for stuff can get a bit tedious but its balanced with the action and puzzles available.

Tomb raider should be what every one wants out of a video game, beautiful environments, stunning visuals, good gameplay and a great story

Graphics are very well done just a beautiful game done controls are easy to get use to upgrades are cool gameplay is awesome my issue is the storyline and the grunting/screaming from the voice that plated lara but other than that all the mazes or puzzles are a fun challenge and i definitely recommend this game

I'm new to the TR series, and this game did not disappoint. It was a TON of fun to play and interesting/challenging enough to keep my interest. There's strategy involved in this game, and it's important to upgrade your skills/items to advance. I haven't played multiplayer yet, but the solo game was so much fun. I'm eagerly waiting for the new TR game to come out later this year!

Good graphics, Good story, Lots of fun. Multiplayer is lacking in some areas but single player makes up for it.

This is a great Action/Adventure game with some "shoot em up". I found myself immersed in the storyline and gameplay.

I was a big tomb raider fan when the first few came out but then it started tanking so I stopped buying them. When I was buying my xbox one everyone in the store said this TR was the best ever so I decided to give them another chance. IT ROCKS! I beat it and definitely going to play it again. This one will be a keeper in my library. Be careful though if little ones are in the room when playing, Laura suffers some brutal deaths when making wrong moves. YIKES! LOL.

I already have the game on both ps3 and ps4 in addition to a digital copy on 360 but just wanted to get it on Xbox one mainly cause of the times exclusive release of the sequel and really can't wait on the ps4 version. I'm sorta a completionist when it comes to game series on a single console. Anyway the game is just as awesome now as it was the first time i played it. Totally epic and really competes well with Uncharted.
