I would had liked the menu and poi to be set up more like the Live Series but I am sure with more feed back improvement will come in the updates. It is fairly accurate but does give opposite sides of road at times on destination address.Would probably prefer the FM Traffic because it seemed to be a little more dependable as I have been in bad traffic jams with the older model and this one and the older seemed to work around better.Would like to have more one touch options for poi, etc. Overall a good GPS with improvement updates this would be close to an excellent unit.

IMO, Tom Tom has greatly improved the way to download maps. Previous version put a load of work on the consumer just to figure out which product to ID for downloading map, IMO the old program was virtually unsuable. By contrast, the new method for downloads is almost plug and play. Downloads take a good while to download, so figure it could take an hour or more on the computer, but the thing works. Took a trip 500plus miles from home, and everything worked, except the program kept trying to pull us into the EZ pass lane near DC. Otherwise, a huge improvement in downloading, IMO. The negative is that the old system made it easy to find points of interest near your destination--still haven't figured it out on the new version. Still adapting to that wrinkle. But if you drive to a lot of new places, Tom Tom is a very useful product, IMO.

I have owned 4 tom-tom products in the past and most have been relatively trouble free and performed well. The GO 50 so far has been a good product. It does as advertised and on several trips has performed well. The one drawback is the lack of documentation and the complexity of the set up. The older/other ones I have used were intuitive whereas this one is not and the documentation is online. Even with the documentation some aspects are hard to figure out.

Bought this for my dad I wish it would have been easier to get to the directions page. You have to go through 3 or 4 screens before you get the chance to actually punch in your destination. But good screen size and if your good with technology it should be easy to use. This was not made for someone with low or no tech skills.

We got this as a replacement for an older Tom Tom XL with a depleted battery. We could have purchased a new battery, but decided to get the newer version instead for just a little more than the replacement battery. We love the lifetime maps and traffic and the display is brighter and easier to see than the XL. We also like the fact that when we miss a turn, the Tom Tom politely adjusts the navigation and gets you back on track without saying it is recalculating. I rated ease of use as excellent because we were already used to the user interface from the XL, but I thnk it is still easy to get it setup for a first time user.

I have loved using a separate GPS from my phone so that it remains uninterrupted throughout my trip and one that I can move from car to car so that all my favorite places are stored in one place. I was excited to upgrade to a new TomTom which has LIFETIME USA/Canada/Mexico map upgrades and LIFETIME traffic. The only feature that I had not considered which I may have had it been specifically mentioned and available among the options at Best Buy would have been a voice activated model. I am happy enough with this model to keep it and work with it. Great price too!

It's a functional enough GPS, but the input process is terrible. I've had several TomToms in the past (and have lost them, none of them stopped working) and NONE of them were as huge of a pain to input a destination. Other than that, it's perfectly fine, functional, and will even pop up and ask me if I want to bypass heavy traffic that has developed while en route, but man, I just HATE trying to input a destination, the user interface is terrible.

I'm went on a trip out state, for the first time i was to drive over nine hours. once the location was set into the system.,at the beginning it took a little to get use to the voice command. once that initial awareness passed, i was got very confident that i was going to get to my destination without any problem. i don't know how i have been getting around without this instrument. had i know, i would had avoid all those times i have got lost while trying to get to places even around town.

Unit works very well. Only complaint is my old unit would have address number when reaching my Destination. This one will not. So if it takes you to the wrong house you need to keep looking what house number you put in to it. All else is Great.

Very easy to use. I love the lifetime maps and traffic option that comes with it. I use it more for the traffic than for actual driving directions

This was purchased for the lifetime map and traffic updates for someone that isn't too technically savvy in terms of using Waze or another app on their phone as their primary GPS. The screen size is nice, the text is readable, and it hasn't guided anyone into a lake yet!

I wish this Tom Tom had the features of the old one. It doesn't let you review in detail the planned route. It doesn't allow you to put in points of interest to just show up along your route. It does do a fine job of getting you where you want to go.

I have a Go60 in another car and this was a perfect match (Functions are identical) in a 1 inch smaller size.

Took a little getting used to coming from using a older Tom Tom. I have since gotten use to the new feature and I like it better

Does what it is supposed to do - tells you how to get to where you're going. Connects to your telephone for traffic updates. Recently drove from Chicago to San Antonio and it got me there just fine with zero problems along the way.

It's nothing like my older Tom Tom, which I love. Honestly I like the older one much better. I do not like this one at all.

This is a great GPS for the price. I upgraded from a TomTom One to the go 50. It is a huge improvement over the old GPS.
