Strange Little Girl version. Double vinyl LP pressing. In 2001, Tori Amos released a unique collection of cover versions, Strange Little Girls. No stranger to putting her own individual stamp on other writers' songs, what made Strange Little Girls so different was the conceptual nature of the project, where she tackled 12 songs written by men, interpreted them from her own unique persecutive. This included unusual takes of songs originally recorded by a wide variety of artists, including Eminem, Slayer and The Stranglers. The original 12 track album has now been bolstered with four extra bonus tracks not on the original Alice Cooper's Only Women Bleed, David Bowie's After All, plus two unreleased songs, Bruce Springsteen's Growin' Up and Elvis Costello's Hoover Factory. Another unusual aspect of the original artwork is the 12 different characters that Tori brought to the cover artwork. Rhino are now releasing 12 different versions of the LP, which is available on vinyl for the very first time, with 12 different LP jackets, each featuring a Tori as a different character.
