This was a great deal for so much storage. Can save all my videos and photos with this. Easy to install

First off I won't be an unfair reviewer and base my opinions on this hard drive unfairly comparing it to solid state drive. It is Obvious that this won't be as fast, durable, thin or lightweight as a solid state drive BUT don't be fooled, this is a great hard drive especially for the price. 1 TB is fairly large even when we compare it to most computers today. It is more than most people will ever need for their whole lifetime. However it is nice to have that peace of mind of knowing you have more than enough storage for anything that may pop up and absolutely need to store/save. Installed this in an ASUS netbook and installation went smoothly. It is actually thinner than most regular hard drives, kudos to toshiba. Boots windows 8.1 in normal time, runs programs as it should and runs quietly for a hard drive. This computer repair was not one that needed the best performing parts out there so this hard drive did wonders and performed as it should. No surprises, hiccups or anything out of the ordinary. Again, kudos to Toshiba and to Best Buy for a nicely priced drive.

Bought and installed this into my PS4 to upgrade the storage space for my expanding library of games. It was an amazingly quick installation, and as long as you follow one of the many different directions available online, there should be no issue in transferring your game & save data. (Was able to transfer my copy of the now impossible to download "P.T." Over easily). After installing, it's given me the extra space I needed (although I wish I had sprung for the 2 GB now lol) and worked flawlessly after installing the PS4 OS. Couldn't recommend any more than this!

Easy install, ready to go - got my laptop back. Regular price was 80 bucks. On sale for 59, but the web site price was 49 so they gave me the online price with no hassles at all. Good customer service, and the best part is my 2 year old Lenovo I5 laptop is back up and running - a nominal investment to get a $700 laptop from paperweight to workhorse - and 1 TB of memory fits every photo, song, program, even back ups of other laptops and computers in my network with a ton of room to spare. Should have bought two and used the other in a portable for storage - highly recommended drive - no problems, works great - love it

I wanted to make a small, fast computer, so I got a small SSD (128G) and this drive for document storage (photos, music, etc.). That combo is working very well. I found this drive on sale while browsing online at BB on the weekend, but when I got to the store I found the sale had ended (sales change on Mondays). But the sales clerk just went over to a terminal, found the same drive on sale at Amazon, and gave me the price match. It only took a couple of extra minutes, and I got the product I wanted at the price I wanted. It's nice having a store nearby with quality products that will match Internet prices.

I purchased this drive as an upgrade for my stock 500gb factory hard drive in my PS4. The install is easy and it works like a charm. If you're a PS4 owner and want to increase your storage at a low cost, this drive is great.

So after the HD in my laptop was going out I went to Best Buy to find me a new one. The price on the 1TB Toshiba HD was so good that I just had to get it even if 1TB is much more storage than I need. The HD has been working perfectly with no issues as even helped my start up and running speeds. It's also pretty quite. As far as HD go anyway.

I have a g75vw laptop with dual drive bays. On the original drive, I was pretty much running out of space. It slowed down my computer to a crawl at times, not to mention I had already backed up and emptied all that I could out of this computer to an external drive. I decided to get a new drive, saw this one, checked the reviews, noticed they had one available at my nearest bestbuy store, so I went and bought it. I emptied my old storage partition, transferred it all to this drive, and you can immediately tell the difference in performance! Now, in my particular case, the battery drains faster, because I am running two drives instead of one. I am not sure how much of an impact it would have on single bay laptops. But on mine, particularly, the charge lasts about half an hour to an hour less than before, depending on usage. Point is, it runs videos fast with no lag. Working on large files takes little to nothing to save or copy, I should still have plenty of space for another year or two. My portable desktop is now complete for working on high end projects on the fly without relying on an external drive.

Bought it for the household playstation 4. Packaging was secure (although best buy slapped pickup stickers all over it, but thats no big deal). Easy to install, quiet and reads/writes faster than expected. Very good hard drive for the price, can't be beat.

There was nothing wrong with my original hard drive other then it was running out of space. After installing this drive I have more room and notice my MacBook Pro runs a little quicker. Great upgrade on a budget.

Bought this to replace a hard drive that died in a relative's laptop, so they went from a 320gb hard drive to a 1TB hard drive! set up was simple and fast and the drive is working flawlessly!

Wanted a bigger HDD for one of my Toshiba Laptops and this one did a great job to provide more storage that I needed. Easy to install and worked as I expected with no problems.

Simple install. Huge amount of space for very little money. Very quiet you don't even realize it's running. My laptop runs cooler and faster since install. Great product

This drive works very well, and provides lots of storage. There are faster drives available but this one performs well an the price is very good.

This replacement drive is a great value for the price paid. Increased my drive capacity from 500MB to 1TB with some performance upgrade over OEM. Installation and instructions were easy to understand and complete.

Got this hard drive to replace a current, was worried at price point but very good product silent and fast.

When the hard drive inside my Playstation 4 became filled, I searched the web for suitable replacements. This drive is excellent in that it provides a TB of space at a very reasonable price. After installing it in my gaming system, everything ran smoothly without any noticeable sound. I later purchased another of these drives to install in my computer.

I purchased this hard drive for my Dell Studio laptop. My hard drive has been giving me fits for some time so I decided it was time to change it out. I searched many sites for a hard drive that would suit my needs and not cost a huge sum of money. This Toshiba 1 TB was a great upgrade from my 283 gb and I only paid $45.00. So far I have not encountered any problems with the hard drive, but if I do, it has a 3 year limited warranty.
