I bought this TV because it was on sale for $99 and it is bigger then bedroom TV. This TV (Toshiba 28" $99) became my new bedroom TV. The bedroom TV (LG 24" $79 ) became the monitor for the desktop. This Toshiba 28" TV only has 2 HDMI ports located on the side for easy access. I use the 2 HDMI ports for Chromecast and XBOX. If I want to use my laptop on this 28" Toshiba HDTV, I have to manually disconnect either XBOX or Chromecast from HDMI so it is available to connect my laptop. So there is manual labor involved when disconnecting and connecting various components. That doesn't bother me to much, if not at all. But be aware of the fact that it only has 2 HDMI ports. Ask yourself, will 2 HDMI ports be enough for you? The 28 " TV weighs under 10 pounds. It makes a great secondary monitor to connect to a laptop. Within minutes one can disconnect this TV and relocate it to dinning/coffee//portable table to connect to laptop. (may need extension cord) Again, a little labor is involved, but takes less then 10 minutes to relocate TV because it is light and not to big for me I do like the TV. Its good enough for watching Movies and shows while laying in bed. If I could buy a 32 inch TV for the same price as this, I probable would buy the 32 inch. I also use it as a monitor to hook it up to a laptop. If you want to use this TV as a monitor for laptop, you need to know if your laptop has HDMI port or VGA port. I do not know if a laptop with VGA port can be connected to this TV. You may need an adaptor, but again I'm not sure at all on this. BUT, if your laptop has a HDMI port, it is easy to connect laptop to this TV. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Depends

Great TV for my kitchen, with a nice remote. Have it hooked up to a digital HD antenna and reception is great. Pictures are clear and colors are vibrant.

Needed a TV to fit the extremely limited wall space in my brand new Tiny House. Had just 28 1/2" and found this TV at 28" on Sale. It was a miracle as most sets are 29" wide and I just did not have that extra inch. Bought it and never looked back. Great picture even "on-air" without cable out there on Pittsburgher Highland Farm where we have the Tiny House with this TV.

I bought it for my Wife to use mainly. She is very pleased with it. The installation of the stands were very easy and the setup after it was turned on was pretty much automatic. We are both very satisfied with the TV.

I needed a basic tv for a trade show where I needed good resolution, but no frills attached like smart tv or other options. Great size because 32" would be too big and not too small. Lightweight and portable at a terrific price.

Purchased this television though we went with a different model in mind. The price hooked us and we are very pleased with our choice. Picture is clear; color is bright; remote is handy. We would buy this brand again if the need arose.

Model Toshiba 28L110U. Never thought about Toshiba, but this was exact size, 28", and the price was right. Picture is good, but I wanted a 1080p. (I am convinced there is a conspiracy to rid the world of 28" 1080p because you can still get a slew of them in smaller 24" and 32" and almost impossible to find in 28"). The sound is distinctly better than the Element 24" 1080p it replaced, but Element picture a bit better. Running fine after only a month. One other note. I found this same unit for $10 cheaper 2 wks later (same store). Turns out you can get the difference back if the unit is still within the return period. So, keep your receipt and keep checking.

I was looking for a small TV to put in a smaller size bedroom. Looked on the internet at several sites and found this one at Best Buy. Good quality for the inexpensive price. They had it in stock and I picked it up the same day. Doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it's a good unit for a small room.
