I purchased this harddrive to upgrade my PS3 from 250 to 500 gb of space. It was very easy to install and reformatted in no time. The price was very reasonable compared to others of the same gb. After some extended use it seems to be a very good drive. Decent speed for data transfers and does not generate much heat. I would suggest this product to anyone

Works great. Installed as HD in a desktop. It is very quiet, runs cool and fast enough for my needs. Bought it because of the low clearance price which made it much cheaper than a 3.5 inch hard drive. I also had mounting rails left over from a SSD kit to convert 2.5 to 3.5 installation.

I'd say this external hard drive is better than any other hard drive. I used couple of hard drives. Those were broken very easily and most annoying those were not working on windows 10. Because it needed upgrade version of software which is not easy to find and install. But Seagate hard drives didn't have those problems. So I'm happy

Not a lot to say except installation went easily in a 2009 MacBook pro whose drive ha died. Drive fired up with no problems, It was a bit of a pain installing software as it is all loaded off line instead of a disc. But that is an Apple problem, not any issue with the disc drive. I've had it a month and it is working fine.

I had run out of room on the O.E.M. drive, so I picked this nice jewel for a replacement. As my laptop is a Toshiba this drive fit like a glove. No problems cloning, no problems installing. Now just to see how long it will last. My only regrets are I did not have the spending money for a Solid State Drive.

I had to replace a bad hard drive, shopped and picked this one, as the best when combining size and cost and speed. Installed, reloaded the hard drive and it works great, actually made the laptop work better than before it was broken

One of my kids is learning to code, so I bought this drive to stuff into an old laptop. Sure enough, it spun up and worked fine. Sounds pretty boring, but that's what I wanted: a drive that worked, fit into the laptop, held its data, and was a breeze to install. Well, there ya go.

As with other hard drives, this drive is easy to install. Awesome price even when not on sale. 3 year warranty. Which is longer than Seagate and Western Digital hard drive warranties. And, just in case your wondering, this hard fits the PS4.

I have used 2 of these drives on separate laptops without a single issue thus far. They are just as quiet and fast as the original drives. Sure you could spend more money for more capacity or higher performance but this was the best buy for my laptops.

Hard drive was easy to install in a laptop after the original Hard drive failed after a few years. It is working flawlessly so far. Hope to get many more years out of this hard drive!

had a drive crash on me, found this one at best buy, great price for the speed and size. installed without any issues.

Simple to install. Only problem was that Windows would not recognize the drive even though it was recognized at boot up and on the device list. Had to contact customer support at Toshiba and they told me the drive needed to be initialized. Since there were NO INSTRUCTIONS with the drive, I was not aware. I have installed hard drives before, some needed initialized and some did not, but there were instructions included with the drive that told me what was needed.

Bought this to replace a failed unit. This installed easily and was a good value.
