This a great TV once properly calibrated. Make sure you enable the HDMI-CEC and if your video sources have HDMI-CEC you never have to switch inputs ever again. Everything is done for you. The TV powers up once you turn the video source on. Again you can only take advantage of this feature if your video sources have HDMI-CEC. I have Directv, AppleTV and Amazon FireTV attached to it and using the iPad app for the Apple TV and Amazon FireTV they will automatically turn the TV on and select the correct input. The Toshiba TV App works well too but it can't turn the TV on my itself. I've only had this TV for 2 months and so far so good. The blacks could be blacker but for a budget TV, it's quite good for what it is. I'm using an LG soundbar with it since the internal speakers as with all flat screen TV don't sound good.

The TV is very nice! the picture is gorgeous. Had to change the volume but now it sounds perfect. The only flaw I have is the google cast. I wish it had the apps built into the tv. It would be a 5star if it did.

Is a great TV, but personally I would like if the remote control had numbers

65" 4k smart tv, good deal for price, but could use more options, and a app store

This flat screen is bright, colorful, and more clear than many other brands costing 3 times as much. I'm using it right now for gaming and I'm loving the clarity and detail. A must buy!

I am really enjoying my new family TV. It has a very nice sharp picture.

This tv was great for the price ($600). The sound is pretty good for integrated speakers and the google chromecast works very well. Word of caution for the chromecast, my iPhone was having trouble finding the tv at times, but I figured out that the tv and phone have to be in the same wifi frequency (2.4ghz or 5.8 ghz, a/b/g/n/etc.). There is some bluriness with fast moving scenes as would be expected from a 60hz tv. Overall good sound, BIG screen, fully functional chromecast, and a good value.

Resolution, picture clarity, and sound quality were good. Actually, I was surprisingly pleased with the sound that I am not using any external soundbar. Doesn't have the bells and whistles that other high priced TVs advertise, but this is good for the price. The product description is kind of misleading in the sense that the TV does not have a Netflix or Youtube or any other app installed on it. All that it has is Google Cast. So, you need to have a Google Cast enabled device (computer or phone etc) to cast your netflix or youtube or any other compatible app from that device. The remote control lacks ease for watching regular TV channels. There is no numeric keypad on the remote to enter the TV channel number that you want to watch. There is not even a button to bring up channel list to select a channel quickly. If you are okay with the above drawbacks but want a big TV for little price, you can buy this one.

After calibrating the TV, Picture quality looks pretty good. My only issue is that, I still have not been able to connect this to my sound bar using HDMI ARC, when connected via HDMI ARC there is no sound, I have it connected using Optical cable and it works fine but sometimes I noticed that the video and sound is not in sync. Overall it's a good buy, I also purchased a 5 year best buy protection plan just in case something goes wrong.

Got it on sale for 600$, shipping was fast and free. 4k, 3hdmi and huge. Very much worth the price. The only issue is the 60hrz, wish it was 120, but for the price, its worth it.

I just got my tv and i have been with Toshiba for 20 yrs but, this tv has blown me away. The 4k picture quality is amazing, we went from a 50 inch to a 65 inch. The sound quality is not bad either, this tv compared to other top tvs in the same size blows them away and the price just can't be beat. I payed more for my 50 inch, what a deal and i will recommend this tv to every one that i know just as i did with my 50 inch....

Happened to catch this on sale for $599 which was WAY cheaper than any other tv's with similar features. There were some negative reviews that made me hesitant to buy it but took a chance because the price couldn't be beat. Worked perfectly out of the box. Looks and sounds great.

I did a lot of research on the right television. I am cheap so I didn't want to spend too much money, but still wanted to get the best TV I could even going cheap. I wanted a large size television, preferably 65" or more. I came across this one and read the reviews and saw that it had been as low as $599. After looking at all other TVs, I decided this was the best overall package. I wanted one of two things - either 4k or 120hz refresh rate. I would have loved both but that would've cost at least another $200. After seeing everyone's advice, I decided I'd rather have 4k capability and not worry about the refresh rate. As many have said, the average person won't recognize or care about it. That was me. The TV is easy to set up and has a great picture. TV boots up real quick. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend, unless you're some kind of tech geek who would notice something like the refresh rate.

We got this as BestBuy's deal of the day. Got it home and all set up and just in love with it. The GoogleCast is great cause we didn't want another smart TV, since we didn't even use half the features the old TV (Samsung) had. Couldn't believe the price and picture. Just make sure you get the 4K HDMI cables and check your cable box settings to ensure you're broadcasting in 1080HD. The one negative is the remote since it doesn't have any number keys on it. Other that that I would buy another one if it went on sale again.

I was amazed to see this 65" 4K TV on a one day special for just $599 at Best Buy. I grabbed it, even though I had just purchased a 55" 1080 TV a little over a year ago. I wasn't sure how much better the picture would be since almost everything I watch is still just 1080p or lower resolution, so I set up the new Toshiba next to my existing 55" 1080p TV and watched over-the-air HD content on both from just 6 feet back. You could easily see the better resolution on the larger Toshiba TV so it must do some upscaling. The colors are bright and nicely saturated with deep blacks. I haven't done a full calibration on it but it can only get better. I like the Googlecast feature once I set it up on my iPhone. The TV will display a nice rotating selection of artwork if you don't have anything else playing on Googlecast. I am looking forward to learning more about the options available in Googlecast. The remote is very minimal (no buttons to select TV channels when watching over-the-air, just an up/down channel choice, but since most will use their cable controller this is probably not a big issue.

Great value, good picture. Built in Chromecast a nice feature. Ordered on line and got next day delivery. Only complaint--in low light scenes, little variation in shades of gray; instead dark objects are black. Adjusting contrast and brightness to fix this makes bright scenes look washed out. It could be that I haven't found the right calibration settings.

If you want a big screen for a good price this is a good option. The sound isn't great but can be fooled around with a bit to improve it. The picture is good, some of the settings can look a bit 'soap opera-ish' The price is great, for the size and 4k. Have had it for a while now (about 4 months) and no problems.

Got this on a deal of the day and can't complain. Yes the remote does not have numbers but you can actually speed through the channels with the up and down arrows so that's no problem. It is very easy to use, you must have a phone or tablet in order to be able to use the built in chromecast. Also, the built in chromecast allows you to stream 4K if you have a service that streams 4K. Overall great for the price no complaints!

I picked up this Toshiba TV at a great cost. It has Chromecast built in for the teck kids. Its super clear picture with 4K. Now if I can only get my Directv to deliver on their promise and produce me something in 4k worth watching.
