This Toshiba SSD is perfect for all laptops due to size and compatibility. Given that it is from a reputable company, its reliability, quality, speed and customer service is great. I purchased this SSD to replace my 15" 2006 MacBook Pro's stock HDD to revive its speed and it did not disappoint. Not only did bootup times where faster than the stock HDD, but opening applications where almost instantaneous. It literally is like I just bought a new laptop. Its size is perfect for slimmer laptops such as Apple Macbooks and Macbook Pros. I highly recommend this to all.

Installed in an old laptop with a bad hard drive. I bought Windows 8 to put back on it. It took less than 15 minutes to install the drive, Windows 8, and be working on it. Best of all, Windows 8 starts up on this drive in 3-5 seconds, which is three times as fast as any of my friends computers with regular old style hard drives. Would recommend to anyone from novice users (me) to computers geeks!

I have owned SSD's from Samsung, OCZ, Silicone Power, Kensington and others. This was my first Toshiba and I'm very impressed with the performance. Has FAST write and read speeds that are real. I use them in Apple computers and this was used to create a fusion drive in a I7 Mac Mini. One thing that makes the Toshiba stand out is that it can be used in iMac's that have temp sensors without special adapters. (Has connector for Apple factory cable.)

Cheap, fast, reliable so far-- Writing this review on a Windows Server 2012 box that runs perfectly I have the cheap 128 GB model which i use for the OS then then RAIDed 2TB old school HDs for the mass storage. I like the metal case all around it. Cons? you can find kits out there with mounting brackets, software and SATA to usb adapter for around the same price. Check out microcenter.

Did my reasearch on read/write speeds and realtime read/write speeds and this SSD was second in its class. This SSD with my current configuration allows for 4 sec max boot time and very fast transfers. Highly recommended for the price.

Installed this ssd sata III in my windows 7 sata II pc. Hooray for backwards compatibility. I knew it would kick new life into it. Sure enough, it boots up lickity split and is plenty more responsive. Much faster than the old hard drive. Now i don't have to toss it and get a new one. It's kinda like putting a new engine in an older car. It was and is a news surfing and YouTube watching computer. The ssd and included cloning software are top notch. This ssd does not come with a cloning usb to sata cable. Best Buy sells them. I had one from another brand ssd install. Just follow directions. I trust Toshiba's quality and performance. Should I get a newer pc down the road, I can reclone the ssd to it if I want. What's not to like, huh?

What was once thought to be a lost computer to age suddenly sprung to life. The Toshiba SSD drive is rated as one of the fastest on the market and they are compatible with the Macbook Pro GUID formatting. Installation took less than 15 minutes. Transferring files over was easy as well - using the Mac "command R" at startup. Format. Install fresh OS. Restart. And (with the old drive attached) transfer files during the initial set up. That will take about 2-3 hours based on your internet speeds. The boot up time went from 1 minute and 43 seconds to 19 seconds! The capacity is small but if you need something to kick your computer in the pants and your files are on an external, then you need this SSD.

My buddy Google took me to a site, which rated this drive as the best balance of price, speed, and reliability. Bought two of these and configured them for Linux software RAID. Works. Was not disappointed.

I've had this installed for more than a year now and still works great. It's fast and was easy to install, but you may need to buy a bracket of you're using it in a desktop.

I upgraded my five year old DELL laptop and it's faster than I was expecting. Power consumption has dropped giving me an extra hour. It's a great buy to give new life to an old computer.

Well worth it, awesome speed and has been reliable. I want a few more! Fair priced, and easy fit into laptop. 3 to 4 X speed increase then my laptop 7200 RPM HDD. Warranty is good.

A cheap Solid State Drive that runs flawlessly with no issues. I tested the drive for errors and no issues. It boots Windows within seconds with my AMD 8 core processor.

This is the 2nd Toshiba Q Series SSD I have purchased. Easy install. Fast Read/Write Speeds. Will buy more if they go on sale again for other PCs and Laptops.

I had a failed HDD and was looking for a good SSD. I was able to get this Toshiba SSD 128 GB. I replaced on my Dell windows laptop. The boot time and the performance is very fast. It is a good product for a great price under 75 USD.

I purchased this drive to install in a 6 year old Mac Mini. The mini had become painfully slow with it's original drive. I swapped the drives and did a fresh install of OS X. I cannot overstate the improvement in the overall usability of the computer that resulted. I'm certain that my mom will be able to enjoy using this computer for a few more years. The increased performance made her feel like she had a brand new machine. I made a lot of mom "points" for only about $60. The drive has been in use now for about a month, and she couldn't be happier with it.

I bought one of these same SSDs when I did my latest upgrade to my primary desktop, and it's been perfect. It was an excellent deal then, and when I saw it was on sale and more affordable than ever, I grabbed another one to upgrade our secondary desktop and am now batting 2 for 2! They have been rock solid and fast, with a 7.9 primary drive subscore in my desktop's Windows Experience Index. Thinking about snagging a 3rd to use during Windows 10 upgrades, and perhaps a larger capacity one for my somewhat tired i3 laptop to reinvigorate it. Sweet....

Purchased to upgrade a LapTop from a slow hard drive to speedy SSD and went very smoothly with no surprises and no issues.

This SSD isn't the fastest out there, but for the price and size, it can't be beat. It works great and Windows 10 Home flys!

The price of solid state drives has declined significantly in recent months, making them now affordable compared to conventional drives. Although capacity is less for the same price as a conventional mechanical drive, that's a moot point with cloud backupyservices. The difference in speed is significant, and I probably will not be buying any more "dinosaur drives."

This is such an awesome drive, I dropped my laptop on Christmas and broke my HDD I needed a new replacement, I opted to get an S SD and it was the best decision I ever made! These drives are so fast I can transfer data up to 30 MB a second to and from this hard drive, perfect for my needs!
