My wife works from home since before the pandemic and I rarely ever need a phone for calls purposes. I got tired of paying carrier prices for data I never use because I'm on wifi when I need my phone and if I'm out and about, there's no reason I need data as I'm enjoying life out side of my device/phone. I live in NE Wisconsin where Verizon has great coverage and was previously on Verizon. with calls and text I notice no difference in call quality, other than this service doesn't have access to HD voice. Data speed, after running both Verizon and total wireless on speedtest.net proved to be in identical speeds, no complaints. There are times, I do notice slow access to data when outside of the house, but sometimes it's related to location and where the towers are, never a deal breaker. This service was a bit more hands off, I was in charge of porting numbers and phones a bit more than going to a carrier store. Nothing a few chats/calls with Total Wireless couldn't resolve. I brought two lines over and proved to be a bit of a challenge especially when porting from Verizon in which I was the account holder and led to some unforseen issues with Verizon primary accounts. Everyone's use case is different and think anyone would be able to get through the potential difficulties. Why did I jump from Verizon? During the pandemic and the state side shutdowns all they offered was 15 GB extra a month. Made no sense to me, both my wife and I were working from home and rarely needed to be out, and in the first month used less than 1 GB of data between both of us and I was paying $92 for two lines and 8 GB of shared data after taxes and work discounts. Drove me nuts, cause probably what everyone needed was a break from cellular cell costs. We were all at home and should have been on our WiFi's. But whatever, I digress, happy to have switched and $60 for two lines and 30 GB of data, I won't need more. Hope you give this a try definitely worth the savings!

Have had Total Wireless for years with no contracts, Cards are reasonable for what you get. I buy the digital delivery most of the time. Cards are emailed within a few hours at most, usually quicker. only downside is you hope you do not have to call customer service as most of the people you talk to are in foreign countries and many times hard to understand. Still, service is pretty reliable, and I have a signal mostly anywhere.
