Q: How do you enable VoLTE on this phone?
A: It is the network provider's ( Tracfone in this case ) responsibility to put VoLTE on the phone when you activate it. It will show up as a toggle under mobile networks if Tracfone activated it. Without VoLTE, the phone will not receive or make phone calls or send and receive texts most of the time. I learned the hard way with this same exact phone through Tracfone.

A: As far as goes your TracFone number the answer is no. You can however download google hangouts, google voice, or textnow (you must constantly use your textnow number or you will lose it) and make wifi phone calls and texts through these apps. You can link your google hangouts or google voice number with your TracFone.
Q: Does this phone come with triple minutes? If not, do you have any phones now with triple minutes?
A: Tracfone stopped offering triple minutes for life a few years ago. Only longtime customers who got triple minutes for life with original purchase continue to get triple minutes for life as long as they buy the 60, 120, or 450 minute 90 day airtime cards at the store and add manually to the phone via My Account app. The new smartphone plans that they now offer do not triple.
A: Yes they should. My husband and I have been Tracfone customers for many years. Any time we upgrade to a new phone on the SAME number everything moves over and always triples every time I add an airtime card. Beware if you choose one of their new smartphone plans, you WILL lose your triple minutes for life. So if you want to keep triple minutes for life, do not change your number and continue to buy the 60 minute or 120 minute or 450 minute 90 day airtime cards at the store and add them onto the phone via the My Account app.
