Tre Burt - Caught It From The Rye - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. 2023 album from the singer/songwriter. InchAs it became time to start writing for my 3rd LP for Oh Boy Records and figuring how I wanted to express all that has happened since InchYou, Yeah, YouInch, I decided it was time to try and take that old cadillac sound from my childhood and use it as the modicum and put it through everything I've learned since then. I decided to write an album that says, InchSure, the world is fucked and the evil overlords may very well destroy it, but that's none of my business and I choose love and rock and roll, babyInch.

Vinyl LP pressing. Tré Burt is no stranger to coincidence. Much of his music career has been marked by chance encounters and happy accidents, the kind of stuff you see in movies but rarely experience in real life. It'd be easy to chalk such happenstance up to luck, then, but for Burt, being in the right place at the right time is a phenomenon born from his lifelong passion for music and his unwavering adherence to living authentically as an artist. You, Yeah, You is Tré's second full length album through Nashville based Oh Boy Records and is the follow up to his debut, Caught It From The Rye. This new collection of original songs was recorded with the help of producer Brad Cook and finds Burt backed by a talented cast of guest musicians including Phil Cook, Matt McCaughan, Alex Farrar, Amelia Meath and Kelsey Waldon. You, Yeah, You is a narrated collection of songs featuring a cast of invented characters; heroes, villains, those destitute of salvation, and those seeking it. The album represents a summoning of the will to fight the unknown rather than surrender to fear and fatigue. Like his late songwriting hero John Prine, Burt showcases his poet's eye for detail, surgeon's sense of narrative precision, and his songwriters' ability to transpose observation into affecting verse.
