I got this keyboard to swap out a keyboard I use at one of my work offices. I am used to using gaming keyboards at home with games, and I saw this with a lower profile on the keys, but full mechanical key feel, and I got interested. What set this apart at this price point was the programmable touch screen, which I find useful to place some program shortcuts on to easily switch between my most used ones during the work day. In addition, the dedicated media buttons are very nice, a feature my last keyboard lacked. The push of they key and the stroke is quick and good feedback, and the texture is good. I like the slight adjustability of the height also. As for the software you use for this, the swarm ii, this worked well and downloaded an update right away on the keyboard, and then the ability to customize every key down ot color of the light on it is really nice. There seems to be no real lag on game play with this either. You type or move in a program or game, once you push a key, you get a letter or move. No delay. I have no complaints on this item, pretty good value at this price point, I would reccomend this and no points star deductions. 5 stars.

It supposed to be a mechanical keyboard but it feels far more like a membrane keyboard, and not a very good one. My plan was to type the review on the KB5 but it misses so many inputs I had to give up - the space bar is the worst out of all the keys with it being squishy and the support switches not depressing equally causing the middle switch to not registering an input. On paper, this looks like a wonderful mechanical keyboard with a nice screen to display useful info (limited on game support) or custom shortcuts. I was looking forward to putting it all to use. First game I played and it ended up missing far too many inputs. I had to start forcing a full depress to make sure I activate the keys, but in doing a hard press I end up slowing my reaction times. This bad input transfers over to typing. It got so frustrating having to hit backspace every few characters because it missed an input. Typing slower isn't an option when my old KB works fine. So back in the box and on the shelf this goes and will only be used as back up if my main dies and only for as long as it takes me to get a replacement. It's just to good enough to use full time.
