Turtle Beach - VelocityOne Race Wheel & Pedal System for XBOX Series X|S, Windows PCs – Force Feedback, & Three Pedals - Black

First of all this system is a TON of fun. As far as I know it's the only racing wheel on the market that let's you FULLY configure it on the fly right on the wheel without closing your game or tabbing away. Virtually unlimited keys to assign. Richly detailed and strong force feedback and a flexible software suite to keep everything in order. It's not hard to navigate either. There is a clutch and handbrake axis on the wheel which is awesome. The mount is solid and the RMD screen is crisp and dense with info. If there's a problem you'll know exactly where and what is happening. Now here's the problem. Quality control is bad with these units. I have purchased and returned multiple because of pedal failures which seems to be the song of the season with this product. I had a brake disconnect the whole unit every time it was pressed. I've had brakes get stuck digitally at half pressure permanently. The pedals are not very accurate and hard to configure compared to everyone else's and have wiring issues internally. More people online have had the same issues. And turtle beach doesn't sell pedals separately. It's all quite frustrating when it's such a great package in every other way. And you have to return to whole thing and gamble with another unit when exchanged so it's not for the faint of heart. Despite all this. It's my primary and first choice for racing wheels right now. On sale it's the best value on the market hands down, for compatibility, build quality and features. Not on sale, it's still a really competitive set. Only challenged by the likes of the Logitech RS50, Moza R5, and I guess the relative priced Thrustmaster that I haven't tried, which don't come with half the features or hardware out the box. It blows everything else out of the water at its price point. If turtle beach fixes up their quality control they have a hit for sure.

I bought this whole setup 4 times, yes a 4 player setup, and still do not think it's great, but... it does have the potential to be. So depending on how you are setting this up will determine how good this product is. First things first though... for Xbox it is not that good because there are only a few games in the library worth playing with this wheel. If its PC that you're setting this up with than this wheel is absolutely brilliant! I have mine setup for Xbox but I did it for 3 specific games and didn't have expectations beyond those 3 (F1 25, NFS Unbound, Forza Horizon 6). I am a huge fan of this wheel, multi shift, and the F-RX wheel replacement as well, but it can be very glitchy at times and takes some getting used to. I would recommend a very sturdy rig or 2.0 wheel stand if you invest in this wheel. It's very heavy and feels very premium. If you have between $800-$1,100 to spend on the full setup... do it, but have PATIENCE, don't give up... its phenomenal when done right!

A lot of the people that have reviewed this product negatively did so before the software was ready. As of 04/18/25 the software has performed phenomenally for myself. This is turtle Beach's first attempt at racing simulation hardware. They had a lot of kinks to work out. I upgraded from a Logitech g29 to a thrustmaster t598 and was not really happy with the performance and the extremely lackluster software. Not to mention there was no clutch pedal and it wasn't available to purchase. It's been 5 months since the release of that product and all of the accessories they stated would be available have not been available. I returned the t598 and saw this on sale. I picked it up after reading reviews on various sites and deciding to take a chance on it. The developers for the software for this product are very active on Reddit. Once home I was immediately surprised by how well this product is packaged. Everything is wrapped in very high quality black plastic. And each component was very securely protected with cardboard. The build quality on this is extremely high. Everything feels very solid and rigid. Even the plastic parts are extremely high quality plastic. Turtle Beach has a reputation for lack of quality control but it seems like they've done a lot better with this product. Set up was very easy. The wheel uses a quick connect to the base. The base can be attached directly with the four screw holes on the bottom to a cockpit or can be adjusted using the built-in table clamp. The clamp on this product is probably the best one I've seen out of all the different ones I've tested. When you open the side there's a Allen key built-in that allows you to make adjustments. The pedals are extremely high quality and the brake pedal is a load cell brake pedal which feels night and day from a spring loaded pedal. You can also adjust the position of the brake pedal to your liking. One thing I noticed immediately is how much attention to detail went into the small things with this product. Everything connects with very high quality braided type c cables. Once connected I just had to update the firmware which took about 25 minutes. The force feedback feels fantastic in games. The RMD which is the built-in display works for pretty much every game I tested. There is a slight delay sometimes whenever you switch from one game to another but that really didn't bother me as much as I seem to bother other people. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this product. There really isn't anything at this price point that is direct drive with that included button box, and high quality triple set pedals. The shifter accessory you can purchase for this is probably the best one on the market around its price and I ordered it immediately. Overall I would highly recommend this product radio and interested in some racing and wanting to make the upgrade to a DD interface.

I love the feedback and feeling of the wheel and peddles. I haven’t had any of the issues with my unit that others have described. I play on Xbox X and have a pc ordered so I’m looking forward to hooking it up to that and seeing its performance there.
