Ive wanted to “plus” my christmas light display for years, but just cant afford the thousands of dollars it takes to do it. This year i seriously looked into RGB lights for the first time, i bought a set for under $50 that after making my own frame to support it looked ok, but the animation that was described was only pre-set patterns, with no memory so you had to use the remote each night to set it back to the pattern i liked. This is when i found Twinkly and researched the product and read the reviews. It sounded very promising, i bet it was going to be too expensive - WRONG. The BestBuy bundle for 600 lights & the music dongle was an incredible value for under $200. No other retailer came close. I had an old clapsible tree frame i used to string this set to, Using zip ties it took a bit of time to get them on. The set is divided into 2 - 300 light strings, but the 2 strings are permently connected to the power source. Once it got dark enough i turned them on and went through the set up process. As i read there was a minor hiccup in getting it to connect, but only took one extra try. Mapping the lights is super easy and honestly the most impressive feature of the Twinkly brand. After that it was just playing with all the preset displays to pick a playlist for my tree. What i also found were downloadable displays (free) including a prancing raindeer! Finally a truly animated display! The app has many features including tools to create your own display patterns, built in timers, add multiple sets, and play to the included music dongle. Very happy to be able to get into animated lights for such a reasonable price!

Amazing lights....love the ability to change things up. The whole family loves these lights. Haven't set up the music portion yet, but think it will add a new dimension!

I love these lights! So easy to use. the options for decorations are unlimited. The app makes it so easy to set up, design and change at the push of a button. You can program back to n back designed to play seemlesly. They are pricey, but so so so worth it. Pictures do no justice. Look up videos.

Love these lights, fairly easy setup and the music mode is amazing! Just make sure if you buy multiple bundles you set up at the same time or you have to start all over to set up properly. A little pricy but we had some rewards to spend so got these. I would probably still have bought one set without rewards but we needed tow sets of 600 for our tree bc of size.

Not very user-friendly app. Have to reconnect the lights and the music every day. When they are working and connected they are good.

Best lights I've ever had! The wife has made quite a nice playlist to display our tree in multiple color schemes. If you love vibrant colors and a sparkling tree then you must own these lights. The 600 bulb string is perfect for our 7.5 foot tree. They are quite expensive so hopefully we get many years of use. The app is easy to use. The music adapter works but i am not impressed with the lights flashing with the music. Its just okay for me. Overall, if these stand the test of time, they are an awesome investment!

Awesome!! These lights are so bright and so fun. I wish I could post a video so you can see them in action. But I love the way that you map all the lights on the tree and then you can make custom animations and displays. These are expensive. But worth if for me. I bought the 600 light set and put them on my 7.5ft tree and it was perfect. It even set the mood for the Matrix premier on HBO. Imagine the green lights cascading down the tree. Very cool.

I very much enjoy these lights. You can customize them and even map them to do effects. One thing you may not know is that these are not one long string. They are two strings Y'd. So if they say 100ft its two 50ft. I believe the shorter footed one is a single string. Overall i have mine linked to my wifi and i have the app to set customized playlists. I can show pictures in my review of a few different designs i have and they are all in motion.

I am a huge fan of the Twinkly products and this was the first set of lights that I purchased. We had this set on our 7 foot tree and it was the perfect amount for coverage. I was so impressed with the Twinkly app and the way it maps the lights. The preset effects are incredible, and I love that I can pair this with other sets. The latest firmware update also adds HomeKit support - such a cool set of lights. Definitely recommend these to all.

These lights better last for YEARS after paying the premium price for them. Easy to set up and program. I will never buy another brand of lights again! These are fricken awesome! We put them on our Christmas tree and the different effects are amazing. These can be used for any occasion as well. Hands down, the best Christmas lights I have ever purchased. Eventually, ALL of my Christmas lights will be Twinkly! As for the pictures posted, okay, NOT the best lookin tree but the lights are amazing. Hopefully I can edit this review and add some more later. I wish I could post some video of the effects and music effects these lights have. They have running reindeer, American Flag, lightning, bat signal, pumpkin, different ambiances, snow, fireworks and other cool animated themes. Cool effects for every occasion with an online "store" to download more.

Twinkly will bring your Christmas tree to life! The price almost turned me away but like the old saying you get what you pay for! My kids loved the custom design feature and was busy making different designs daily. I had to give them alternating days lol. The clarity and vibrance of the lights is unmatched! Hoping to use these for many years to come!

Hands down the best Christmas lights you can purchase for your tree or home. Easy setup and perfect execution on the patterns and effects. Only thing that would make this better would be a solid demo video on creating scenes. There are some of the website, but they’re kinda meh. Buy these lights - you will not regret it.

They were a little tricky to set up to Wi-F. But they seem to be real high quality lights the patterns are amazing and offering to download new ones through the app was great.

Absolutely the best Christmas tree lights you can get. Everyone is wowed by our tree. Super easy to use and to combine multiple strands. These afe expensive but the technology is worth it.

I was a little bit leery about these because of their high price, but after putting them on my Christmas tree and seeing all the beautiful things that they could do. These are hands-down the best Christmas lights you can get for your tree. There’s so much power packed into these leds they can do grouping, music sync(with dongle sold separately) customizable and downloadable patterns with in App Controls, smart home compatibility with smart speakers like Google and Alexa, as well as timer functions. my son made custom patterns that turned out amazing as well. So if you’re the type of person that customize is everything then these lights are for you. So in conclusion If you can afford it I highly recommend these lights.

We are actually obsessed with these lights. We bit the bullet and threw out all of our old strands and now my whole family wants them too! The possibilities are endless and the set up was fairly easy. Next up, the exterior lights!

I would highly recommend just plain fun. I'v had these lights for 2 christmases already and don't regret buying them. Def worth the purchase.

We have an older christmas tree where all the integrated lights have long since bit the dust. Each year I was adding random strings of LED lights, but it never looked very good. Once I added these Twinkly lights and mapped them with the iOS app our tree seemed to have been brought back to life! So many patterns to choose from, very bright, and just a joy to use. Looks like I'll be holding on to my old tree for a few more years with these lights keeping it fresh!
